Spring in my garden

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

I quit playing two years ago and DH is slowing down, but the GKS are starting to play so they can use the balls we find. The fairways are narrow with trees and brush on both sides so you can find lots of balls all over.

We also get the language and the 'going' in the woods. I whistle at them when I see them. They usually jump.

Animals can figure a lot in divorces.

Hey Willow. Sorry I did not respond back, when I walk thru your gardens. I love it as the day I really walk thru it. You have a special touch, and it shows.
My Vac got cut short, as my boss is having a family crisis. And I have to step up and take the helm. Ther for no time, no sleep, no life and not much DG, until this is over. Its so sad and I hope I never have to go thru it.
I'm hanging in there.
Hugs to all

Tills....what a trooper you are!! Be sure to get some rest, you need it with the extra load.

Willow......ROFLOL you whistle at the 'going' in the woods? I'll be laughing about that one for quite a while. I love it!!!

I went out yesterday and planted 12 of the new hellebores in the courtyard. Also planted 7 bleeding hearts. Still have 7 hellebores to plant today.
I have two hummingbirds and a butterfly this morning so it must be spring.

Wow Willow, you went hellebore crazy this spring! Easy to do, they are so gorgeous--and they will look absolutely fantastic in your garden setting. Regarding the stinking one, I have seen it at nurserys, but never in bloom. What a rotton name for something so pretty! Does it really smell, or was it just named on a hybridizer's bad day? It is really lovely.

I think it has an odor when you bruise the leaves. I've never notice any smell around it.

Just goes to show you can't go by the name. Nice pics Willow!!

and another. It's been so long since I planted there bulbs that I don't remember what they are. One fall I spent a great deal of $$ on bulbs of all kinds. Most of them now come up as one bulb in various places.

Love these little guys. They are doing well and spreading slowly.

I couldn't get out on Saturday or Sunday but I made it out today and it was glorious. Worked in the courtyard cleaning out the spaces between the bricks and arrange planters for the summer.
