I've been watching the Eastern Bluebirds start their nest this morning...here is the female who has made several trips. The male is standing guard and chased away a Starling earlier.
Thanks for the pics of the birds from the SW, Jane. I just love them! So different from what I'm used to seeing.

Tufted Titmouse! Those are really cool! Haven't been able to get a pic of one yet.
Everytime I go to get the camera he disappears, but he makes sure he gets some peanuts before he does!
I almost got a pic of a mockingbird it landed in the rhody right next to the window all of a sudden another mockingbird came flying down and they started fighting.
Titmice are cuties!
Jane, it's great to see all your NM birds, none of which I've ever seen in "real life". Love the Cactus Wren, especially.

Linthicum: Nice to see the bright yellow on the Goldfinches. They always leave here just before that starts to happen.
Dellrose: I got a Bluebird box as a gift this week. Going to put it up tomorrow and hope. :)

Oh thats cool Debin! I've never seen any of the Kinglets on my suet feeders.
I spotted them for the first time a few week ago. Never seen them here before either. I was pretty thrilled. :)
