Knock Knock!!

Do you lovely people welcome international escapees from another well known forum undergoing a pruning regime? Some of us have been referred here by friends...but we don't want to barge in without common courtesy...(some of us are not A****holes you see!)

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

(Zone 5a)

LadyCrone you and your friends are welcome so just pull up a chair. I dare you to try and read all the post here lol.

Jersey City, NJ

Well, this is lookin' good. Should I perhaps warn you that I may be the first of quite a few? As for a Trade list...my trades would have to travel an awful long way and then your efficient Customs guys would 'delete' them to protect your ecosystem, as would our guys with yours! But I like to talk...in fact I love to talk, have difficulty stopping sometimes!

You sure you still feel warm hearted?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Absolutely! Welcome to DG!!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

welcome welcome. Trades aren't a requirement here:) I just need more friends. You'll find that trading is fun, but it's not number one here. We're a great big family. Hi sis:)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

There is so much more to DG than trading seeds. There's friendship and caring and one big happy family.Welcome to DG where you'll make lots of new friends.

Some of us have already been here, Lady Crone! Heh, heh!

Doris Darlink!! Now you hush and tell no tales out of turn or I will tell Ronald where you are hiding out...These nice people are not ready for Ron...they may not be ready for moi!!

Looks like they are pretty brave folks though, I think I'll stick around for a little while...

PS - I didn't get to wear those big ears John - too wimpy! No, I'm a homeless Crone because I am more the poverty stricken kind...I like my forums Free... in all ways!

Another passenger from the ship of fools here.
I'd like to say hello.
I'm the "Ron" of whom the sweet little old lady from the bottom of the ball spoke.
She's very nice if slightly misguided in all things.
I'm also acquianted with DJ whose sidebar may read "Zoned out".
I'm from the home of outdoor cryonics-WI.
I've been a rose grower and will grow them again as soon as I sell this house and find one in a more relaxing neighborhood such as out of town.
I'm also a fisherman and a GOLFER!!
My roomie "Fredcat" grows pussy willows.
I share an irreverent sense of humor with Da Crone if somewhat more advanced.
Hi everyone.

Wow, thanks to the Crone I'm here after fleeing Mouseland! Thanks Michele for sending me here! You're a sweetie and it's good to see some familiar faces. Yes, this place is niiiiccceee and the price is just right. I brought lots of chocolate. Are we allowed lots of ****s and emoticons here? Can we be irreverent without Spiked punch? Just how far can we go and if we're spanked, where do we get sent? I sure hope it doesn't have anything to do with ears. Here's some homemade fudge for everyone. Get it quick before it gets confiscated tho.

DAVE !!! What's going on here (or perhaps at GW)? All these reprobates and freeloaders coming over here, muscling in on a good thing. Big ears, curly tails and that daft duck cant be far behind. AAAGGHH - just remembered, thats how I got here !! Only kidding Lady C (and the rest) you are very welcome here and, if you are worried about the US Customs trashing your seeds, I'll be happy to trade with ya - we seem to let almost anything into the Old Country.

Hey Tools - I'm a golfer too (but I dont fish). Which did you take up first ? Golf while waiting hours for a bite or fishing to get back all them expensive Titleists !!

Welcome to all you refugees! Did Spike start sending ya all here instead if mouseland? If so maybe we should all send him a great big thankyou card! You are going to see a lot of your pals here already and so far they have all been able to cope with the freedoms here. So jump on into the forums and give the rest of us a chance to know you too! Humor is welcome (they laugh at me all the time!) and open debates are fun so long as you play nice But I warn ya....we are not always good here...sometimes we is jest down right wonderful!

WELCOME WELCOME

I'm here. Panting, wow, nice digs. Glad to meet cha people. I don't have mouse ears, but I got shut outside and could only look inside at the party going on at that other place. Bummer. Dave seems to be much nicer, and I hope you will allow a gardenbabe to snuggle in here? Pass the chocolate, it was a long hike through the spikey forest.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

How does Dave make money from this site to keep it going?

Slidell, LA(Zone 8B)

Hey GardenBabe! We made it! Pick out those spikey things and have some fudge. Thanks everbody, for the warm welcome! I LIKE it here! :)
Kay...emoticom obnoxious at times

LadyCrone, TOOLS, & Shrewella, welcome to the garden. Spikeism
not allowed here. We discuss a great,
diversified quanitiy of things here. We have love and compassion for one another, with a wonderful spiritual webmaster spearheading our site.
He guides, not directs his members.
Motto "For Gardeners, by Gardeners",
Not give me your money, do it my way,
or you'll be transported to "Never, Neverland"! Welcome, friends, welcome!

Thank you Zanymuse,
I feel more at home already

Hello All,
Is there room for yet another defector from the world of Spike and Disney? I too am a Crone referral ( Thanks Michele!) It looks like a great place here! Jayne

Jersey City, NJ

See, I told you they were very nice people. I almost feel sorry for pouncing on them from my perch at the Party. Perhaps a little explanation is in order here, seeing quite a few new faces may be arriving in this space.

Commercial realities are striking hard at the GW and some of us are either averse or unable to cough up a membership 'contribution'. We love being Partiers, don't get us wrong, even with the foibles of the Rules, but we aren't allowed to be cheap drunks over there, so we thought we'd come here and take our chances with the Residents. We do bring chocolate, recipes with lots of chilli, strange habits, freedom of speech, myths and legends, and our own international flavour. I'm sure there will be the odd steeping on toes incidents as we get to know each other, but be assured, we know how to apologise (we were trained by our own psycdoc), and we really are quite nice people under the rather unusual exteriors.

We will try to remember our housetraining...promise!

Joshua Tree, CA(Zone 8b)

LadyCrone WELCOME!!! So nice to have you here. What interesting plants you must have in New Zealand. Hope to get to know you in the coming months. Just Dive right in and participate! You will find us good company.
Lots of people here thar are refugees, and cant remember what its like to be disneyed!!! We build our own reputations here. Kind of a Democracy when you think about it. Like our wonderful Country. Excuse me. I am a very patriotic person. Especially right now.
And SERENITY WELCOME TOO. You should have spoke up sooner!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Well Welcome all.... You have found the happening place to be. Where we don't have enemies all are friends and everybody is welcome. This will soon be your home away from home and you won't even remember that other place. lol I think you will soon discover this is nothing like GW and grow to love DG as much as we do. So kick off you shoes and pull up a chair and join right in. Welcome

I resemble that remark, Toolman!

Any more defectors? Or defectives?
