Might have to make a 'corridor' from my garden to yours.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 41
beautifull sunny day made bbq and sat out in sun with my coffee
cant do yard stuff yet still a little snow on the grown and some areas still frozen but next week end it will be yard work in full swing
wow that is one nice looking flower cant wait for my brugs to bloom
Can't wait to report 80 degrees!! I could do without the humid, though.
its all good with me love the heat the hotter the better
I am always cold so when its really hot I just feel amazing
I'm the opposite, Mona. I will take cool (but not freezing! LOL) over hot and humid any day! I've been working hard every morning while it is still cool mulching, mulching, mulching..........getting set for the sizzle and then our departure. Whew! Today was a 2-shower day!
Check out this huge tree in the yard behind us. It has just gotten its new spring leaves.
what kind of tree is that lol that is super huge
oh it was just a great day here... with the oven going for the party... I had all my windows open and the sliding glass door... kept the wood stove on but the fan was off... it was just perfect.. my house always heats up big time with the stove and a full house... we are both beat from the party... we got finished cleaning up and Randy is already passed out on the couch... but we had a real nice day
I spent most of the day outside but the grown is to wet to do anything yet and still a bit of snow and ice to melt hoping to be able to start to clean up next weekend
its suppose to rain on wednesday and that should do it
DH says I was being overly optimistic on the 55 degree's! lol It may have hit 50 but it felt like 55 in the sun to me.
Louise thats a pretty tree and such lovely shades of green. Ahhhhh, I love it!!
I have variable shades of white with very little mucky brown thrown in. lol
well this afternoon I was sitting on the deck in a tank top lol and I got a tan
also bare feet it was I would about 70F but now that is on the south side so no wind I would not have gone on the north side of the house I would have froze since it was about 50F
32 now... going up to 53

Geraldine, do you pinch the montauk daisy back in the spring when it starts to grow like some people do with mums?
sunny and beautifull again today more snow melting
Hit 50---is now 45---Victor, where in CT does friend live?
Meriden.
Mona - I can't remember the name of that huge tree. I knew it at one point, but just can't recall it now. I do not want to be underneath it in a hurricane!!! Thankfully, our house is far enough away from it to avoid disaster, but our garden shed is fairly close to it.
Debilu - make the most of those gorgeous days off!! Happy for you to finally have some Spring!
Meriden is NE of Cheshire where we used to live.
My friend and his wife live in the house she grew up in!
It was cloudy and chilly all day.
dont worry about the tree,
so when are you coming back north
So Sniff controls the weather, I should have guessed.

Ahhhh .... you can just smell spring in the air this morning! The sunshine is bright, and the birds are as loud as they'll ever get. The squirrels are chasing each other all over the snowbanks. And, if I look at the sunrise and sunset times listed below in my post, it looks like Spring TODAY!!

an equinox, right?
32 & clouds are trying to appear. Have a morning appointment with Dr. who takes care of my asthma. He claims he learns about gardens & pollens from his patients. I had told him that I was allergic to lilacs (at least the purple ones). He had suggested that it was tree pollen. A year or so later, he said that he had walked intoa room with vases of lilacs & his eyes started to water. I was very good & did not say 'told you so'.
LOL!
That WAS very good of you!
