When I got up it was 30 and snowing, it's now 33 and freezing rain is bouncing off the windows! Messy out there..good day for soup, fire in the hearth and a book or movie.

36 and light rain, which is better than 1/2 hr. ago. supposed to be rain on & off all day. Snow, while only a couple of inches, is being slow to melt off the garden.

the driveway was mostly melted when i got home last night - only in front of the garage was there snow - it stayed above freezing last night and with the light rain almost all was gone this morning - today should clean it for the drop in temp tonight

Last night was Town Meeting. As I stepped outside afterward the big brew ha ha, it was sleeting. I commented to the person next to me that the last three times I had been to the Town offices for meetings, it was either snowing enough to cover the tops of my shoes or sleeting enough to make the ride back down the hill very unsafe! I think that next time I go to a meeting 'up on the hill', I'll make sure that there's a toboggan in the backk of my station wagon. At least then I can get home without being afraid of crashing the car into a tree!

Sherrie, Anna's car sunk to the floor boards into the mud at her place of employment yesterday. LOL! Not pretty at all. But fun!

We had wind this morning. At least the rain stopped. Temps are dropping too. Supposed to be 19 tonight. Spring can't get here soon enough.

I have been trying to move some JI's and the gusts are over 30mph. Empty nursery pots are flying all over the place so I'm done for the day.
Wind started abour 8 AM and has just gotten worse. It started out at56* dropped to hi 40's,Its just going to get colder.

The wind is whistling around the house and neighbors garbage can is dancing down the road.
I'm not in shape to catch it.

It was overcast & 55 here today---I walked on the dam, & since no cars were parked, actually took the dog down below the dam---it's another world back there---all the houses had to be moved , & the road you walk on was the old route to MA---closed since the 50's---there are still old plants ie pussy willows & vinca from the houses that were once there. Kind of spooky.

rained this morning a lot and then the sun came out and the winds started boy did it ever come at gusts up to 90 miles per hour lol things are flying around

26 now going up to 41... the wind was pretty strong last night

OK..it's supposed to be sunny and in the high 40's on the weekend....I CAN'T WAIT!!! I am in so much need of getting my hands dirty in the garden that I just can't stand it. Even though last weekend was beautiful, everything was too mushy, even the lawn.

Going to get sunny Going up to 33° Yesterday I was talking a muddy driveway. Called the trashman and told them NOT to come down in the driveway or they would get stuck.
The trashman had a heart attack and died. - I am not kidding!

Wind seems to have dropped, I could still hear it early this morning--maybe it dried things, although we still have patches of snow.
