I was looking at the reddish bird up in the upper left hand corner! LOL!

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

Well, I've got it confirmed in my own mind as to what it is, but I'm not saying a thing until I can back it up with a photo challenge of my own.

An American Goldfinch with leucistic ("washed-out" colour tones) plumage

Resin

Blytheville, AR(Zone 7a)

Thanks Resin,,,,,,,,,I knew he was a really beautiful bird but could not find him in my research,,,,,,,,His wing markings threw me,,,,,,,I hope he is here in the morning,,,,,,,,,I will set up my blind and try for a quality pic or two,,,,,,,It is snowing hard here at nightfall so he will probably still be around,,,,,,,,I put out fresh food so will be waiting for him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,The other birds are not very sociable with him(or her) and run him off all time,,,,,,,,,Roy

Marlton, NJ

Wow what a lovely Goldfinch!

Blytheville, AR(Zone 7a)

Isn't he tho,,,,,,,I sure hope he is still around tomorrow morning and it is calm enough weather for me to get a few pics,,,,,,Roy

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

2vernes, he's beautiful, same things happen to a leucistic Redpoll, I had a week ago.
He would show up alone to feed. that's unusual for Redpolls.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yay Resin I knew you would know it!!

Pretty Goldfinch 2vernes, almost looks tropical!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

These are common here but I've never had them at the feeder. They were here yesterday, but no sign of them today.

Pine Siskins?

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Yup!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Not much of a challenge but it took me a minute since I don't see long beaks at the feeder except the woodies.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I have one, its been hanging around the feeder all day. Size of a sparrow, olive green color with some yellow under its chin. Is it a flycatcher, vireo or warbler. I welcome any suggestions about this one.
