Thanks for sharing the history of your experience in Indy. How cool and interesting. The lake that you are probably referring to is Geist Reservoir. There are definitely lots of great parties up that way and our home team boys running around and living in those parts too. I've had some good times out there in the past as well!
I need to get myself to some of those home tours. I always say I'm going to make it and then...well, then the time ends up passing. There are some beautiful sights to see, no doubt. My guy, Johnny, does like it here. He went to Purdue years ago for engineering and had evidently planned on trying to get back down here to reside before we met. So, it all worked out nicely. Although, at the time, we didn't anticipate that most of his future work would be happening up there, but ah well.
Anyway, glad you're having some fun on vacation and getting to do some shopping...and yes, I'm sure it's bitter sweet to be getting those great deals because of the state of our economy. However, at least you're contributing to their profit margin. I'm sure that aspect of it is appreciated; slashed prices or not.
Beahive, I looove that pic of the frog! He/she is sooo cute. I will also second the compliment on your painted chair, nice job!
Also, I feel like a really bad Mom *oops*...I was one of "those" people that posted pics of some of the fuzzy kids before including one of my own daughter...for shame!
This one is a bit older and there are some better ones of this particular photo session, but can't find where I've put them amongst my pic folders...grrrh! One of these days, I WILL have my photos organized better.
