Enlarging photo's within the articles

Is it possible to have the ability to enlarge the photo's within the artlices? I kept wanting to make them bigger so I can get a close up, but I'm not able to like the thumbnails on regular posts. Just wondering.....thanks.

I too would like that feature, to be able to click on the photo's in the articles to get a better view!

Some of the writing team has figured out how to do it, and they're teaching the rest of us! It's a pretty steep learning curve!

I agree, though. . .the first thing I do as I read the articles is click on the photos. I tend to put pretty large ones in my own articles, for that very reason!

Unfortunately, it's not a trivial thing, so I haven't been doing it with mine.

Something I have been doing, however, is adding captions or additional information to the image (and also to the links) in the article, which pop up when you mouse over the photo (move your mouse so the cursor sits on the image, then let it sit for a second or two).

That's easier to do, so more articles have that, but I thought it was worth mentioning because I think a lot of people don't realize it's there.

I confess, I occasionally use photos that have already been very cropped to enlarge a detail... and those wouldn't be worth enlarging, LOL.

The software that we use to upload the articles does have its limitations, some of which are easier to work around than others. Maybe if enough people want click-to-enlarge photos in the articles, Dave will find a way to make it possible auto-magically!

Yes, please, Dave!

If it's difficult for the writers, could we limit it to images that will really benefit from enlarging? I know this is subjective, but better than none. :-)
