Another Tundra Swan photo .......
'On The Waterfront"
While photographing the White Pelicans, I laid my camera and 500mm lens across the top of my car, so it wasn't on a tripod. An immature Bald Eagle came flying by and I just grabbed the camera and lens and offhand took about 10 photos. Half of the photos only had part of the eagle but I was glad to get what I got under the circumstances.
Very nice Linth!
Linth, wonderful images of those beautiful birds. What a remarkable experience with the fox. Do you feel better now that you've acknowledged that you're a photoholic?
Linth, the only way to cure that addiction is to give up your camera and lenses so you can live a normal life. Since I am such a kind soul, I will gladly take those off your hands for you. ;)
That is SOME detail on that Wigeon.
Linth you continue to amaze me with those pictures.
I love the Scaup's and Wigeons!
Your duck pictures are better than my book. I will have to use your pictures for indentification!
This is another photo of Snow Geese in flight. The Snow Geese sit on the water some distance from land and an occasional Bald Eagle will fly over and startle the flock. On this day I decided to stay around until sunset and watch them settle in ..... on land .....for the evening. Unfortunately, they didn't fly into the sunset which would have provided a nice photo.
Wonderful shots Linth!
I love the Killdeer and the Canvasback! Great shootin Linth!
This last scenic shot is fantastic!
You have such a great photographic "eye". Thank you so much for sharing with us all.
Great shots, us usual, Linth. The sunset is fantastic. The one of the Goldeneye bobbing in the water looks like a lollypop on a stick.
Linth, wonderful photos. Love the Canvasback and especially the Kildeer. Only returning birds so far here are robins.

Thanks, all. I continue to venture toward the waterfronts as those birds that winter there will soon be departing and others will be arriving as Spring migration begins to unfold. The Snowy Owl that I have been pursuing continues to elude me. Yesterday, I again spent a lot of time photographing Snow Geese under rather perfect conditions. I've gotten plenty of Snow Geese photos in the past but continue to photograph them in-flight because every photo is just a little different. One can't ask for more then to have thousands of Snow Geese in front of you and a Bald Eagle sitting right behind you.
Here's the Bald Eagle ...... shot at 700mm.
