Well, the doorman is on his way..just hope he doesn't get lost.

SO, in the mean time some pics from this morning in the yard.

This Common Grackle must have gotten the copy of Mrs. Ed's letter to the birds in her last article. Made sure it turned its head to get the sun on the eye! lol

Pretty ducks! and Nanny, apparently, there is no stopping you!

It is clear that I started this thread too early in the morning hence the link mix up! I'm disappointed that no one cursed me for putting a horrible song in their heads. Must be before your time. I'll have to try again with these Inca Doves.

I just came back from the bird store. The wind is so strong it knocked out a lot of the traffic lights on major highways. Took me a long while to get there.

Great pictures folks. Very windy here today, too.

Claypa, here is a relative of your White Throated Sparrow.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

LOL GG! Thank goodness. I feel much better.
I miss the white-throated sparrows too. Maybe they didn't like the songs I was singing while puttering around in the yard!

Here's another one:

"Hush lil' baby don't say a word. Pappa's gonna buy you a mockingbird, and if that mockingbird won't sing, pappa's gonna buy you a diamond ring..."

LOL Elphaba!! Now two songs are going in my head at once!
