I got 20 more chickens because there was peaple that wanted eggs and I did not have enough hens,now that I`m getting 12 16 eggs a day where are the peaple that wanted the eggs?I have 13 dozen in the fridge.

i knwo the feeling green..thats why i'm just gona deal with having the 24 chickens and if i run out..oh well..but most peopel understand and usually call when they need them..hang in there, they will be sold..

If all else fails, take them to your local food pantry or church...maybe some other poor sap can use them.... Might not get anything for them other than a feel good feeling, but thats a good thing.

Yes I was thinking of that or taking them to my local veg.seller,he sells fresh veggies,berries apples and jars of things that peaple put up like jellies, relishs and such,He was selling homemade cows butter and it was so GOOD!!Then the churn broke and no more butter.
$2 is very reasonable.
I pay $2 for free-range or 'happy chicken' eggs as the lady I buy them from calls them; they get to run around and just be chickens.

i sell mine for 1.25. i think thats why i run out all the time..people just love them and the price!
I have a couple standing orders...my overruns go to the food bank. Right now, I dont have much on over runs though.
Saw eggs at the store today.. 79c for white they were not organic
Well its almost time to board up the coop here for the winter...need to clean their pen out and hand a nest box too.
But first I am off to the cafe....I need a break
