sorting /searching Winter Sowing Database

Is there a way to search the WS DB? Since it's not a separate forum, I didn't see how to do that and you can't re-order the columns. Since it's not in alphabetical order, it's difficult to find the plant you're looking for info on.

The plants are arranged alphabetically, if that helps you find them. (A search and more sorting...and more integration with PlantFiles are somewhere on Dave's to-do's, I'm sure ;o)

Hi Terry. I went back and I see that while the plants ARE in alpha order, they are by latin name, which would be fine, except the latin name is often not shown (look down the list and you'll see - Love Lies Bleeding for example says just that. It is Amaranth but that doesn't show.

Could I suggest we break down the plant names into two columns, latin and common? I could help with that.

When you're filling out the DG survey this week, you might consider putting down improving the WS database (and maybe expanding it into a general propagation database) as something you'd like to see added to DG!
