Dave, I have a real problem

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I can't leave!!! Now, this is not another 'thank you, Dave' thread, I seriously am addicted. Would you consider starting a 12 step forum?? LOL!!! Can't get a thing done for checking for new posts!!! I really do put the blame on you Dave. You gathered in the best people I've ever met, and I have to check on everything my friends say. I'd say I need a life, but this is such a great life, I don't want it to change:)

Oh, tiG!!!! If it's any comfort, there are many of us addicts here - welcome to the group! I thought for sure being forced to do without DG for three weeks this summer (have lightning strike your modem) would cure me, but nooooooo. I'm back in here almost as much as I was before the modem blew. With cold weather coming, I could find myself permanently stuck in this chair.

I know what you mean, tiG. I just can't stay away myself!! :)

hehehe, yes that's fun (and embarrassing for the winners) to run little reports to see who is the biggest DG addict.

Unfortunately, about a month ago I stopped logging all the traffic on DG - the logs were just getting to be too big and I got sick of dealing with it. When people started to complain about the slowdown, I ditched the logs, freeing about 300 megabytes of MEMORY (not hard drive space, mind you).

So, we can only guess, and perhaps run reports on how many posts they have made and such.

standing in line for the dg junkie problem..I have long ago "came clean" with my addiction. They say the first step to recovery is the admission you have a problem. I admitted it a long time ago and have not /don't want to recover.

MzM: Thanks for the thought, but images don't affect the memory on DG. That's a hard drive issue, and we have plenty of hard drive space here.

In other words, the amount of images on DG does not affect our memory utilization.
