Here's a lousy window shot of a Bewick's Wren but wanted you to see the attitude that was demonstrated when the feeding cage was occupied by other birds that would leave and another would take it's place. I've never seen this bird display the tail and wing feathers this way and it was really quite comical especially since it is the smallest bird in the yard!!

I had a Red-bellied on my suet basket rught by the window ...But I couldn't get a pretty pic like yours Mrs.Ed.

Plenty of birds here today. I may have spoken to soon, about the Starlings. They invaded the place today, along with the Mourning Doves.

The little Bewick's Wren was the first in the feeder cage this AM...it was still dark but the early bird got the worm!
The Blue Jay with no tail is showing up regularly and seems to be doing fine. Here is a pic from day before yesterday.
One of 3 male Eastern Bluebirds who are tormenting the little Bewick's!
The Downy's come everyday for the homemade suet in the feeder cage.
We have hundreds of American Goldfinches and they seem to love to pose.
This Mockingbird is also a meal worm addict and comes everyday for his/her share!

I especially liked the wren photo.
I have lots of goldfinches and quail, but only a few juncos and others. But they seem to eat a lot of food.
