Need to look back to vol. 175?: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/946304/
Has to be a 'library pic' from last month, as the weather is too dull for photos here today
Sparrowhawk with dinner, and a Carrion Crow wanting to join in but not being given permission

Daily Pics - Vol. 176
very cool, Resin
I just saw a Robin. Seems a bit early (according to my book they are year-round in southern Vermont, but not up here). Maybe it knows something we don't
Beautiful girl and shot Marna!.
It is hard to get a good pic of a Starling. I take a lot of shots of them and most have to be deleted.
That junco is such a handsome fellow! And I always hear Woody Woodpecker's call in my mind when I see pileateds!!
you guys were busy today.... great shots everyone!
wow, it was a big woodpecker day for you today nanny.
Gee you all are working overtime today...Very nice pics everyone, love all the Woodpeckers, Junco and Starling!
Thanks for the new thread Resin..very cool shot too!
Here's a lousy window shot of a Bewick's Wren but wanted you to see the attitude that was demonstrated when the feeding cage was occupied by other birds that would leave and another would take it's place. I've never seen this bird display the tail and wing feathers this way and it was really quite comical especially since it is the smallest bird in the yard!!
Nice shot Resin. That Sparrowhawk is not about to share its meal!
I love the Juncos Pelle.
Nanny, Pileated and Flickers on the same day!
Mrs. Ed that shot is absolutely beautiful.
GG
Rose, that is too funny. Small, but mighty!!
Well it might be the smallest in the yard, but it's trying to make itself look like the biggest.
I had a Red-bellied on my suet basket rught by the window ...But I couldn't get a pretty pic like yours Mrs.Ed.
Love the wren with attitude Rose!! They do just explode with it and ya gotta love it!!
Great pics everyone!
Rose, I love the fancy fanned out tail on the wren!
OOOH, Nanny love that flicker...special looking bird.
Great pictures of all your interesting birds. Haven't seen any woodpeckers here lately.
I especially liked the wren photo.
I have lots of goldfinches and quail, but only a few juncos and others. But they seem to eat a lot of food.
Donna
Incredible photos everyone. Dellrose, you did great on that shot of the wren through the window and I love the Bluebird, heck love all the pictures!
Burn, love that Grossbeak on the branch with snow.
Nanny, Mrs.Ed and Pelle, beautiful birds you have there!
Resin, great picture of the crow and hawk too!
Caught two Crows on top of a telephone pole with their nuts.
Very nice pics duc! Especially love the Mockingbird.
