PIP PIP Hurray!!!! (again)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Oh man, I drive home from work and all heck breaks loose with the marshmallows. Truly, we need Commander Catscan to bring back some discipline with these troops.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I think the motorized barcalounger might have something to do with it CPO Moxon.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

I am just looking for a closer target. Texas is sooo far away. I dont think Canada would even notice the battle. What do we have against Texas? hmmmmm...
Call in the Military police CMoxon! We have lost all control.
Update: pip is peeping!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ommmmmmm peeping and pipping and prepping for zipping ommmmmmmmm. LOL ya we would just say 'Cool. It's snowing Marshmellows', eat them and go back to making snow angels.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Munch munch...burp! O
oops! We got a ton of snow today. School was closed. Snow angel gallor. >)(<
Its the warmest we have had temp wise though.
Keep those ommmmmmmms coming!!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Hey, where'd all my ammo go? >:o

Fluffing and puffing the chicken suit...

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Commander Sewincircle reporting for updates.
LOL! Stock up today! I will be MIA most of the day.
School from morning til about 10 pm. :/
This may kill me. I will have to call in for updates myself. DH is under strict orders to NOT TOUCH THE BATOR! (AT ALL)
The early bird is not so early now. Its due day today and pip has made hole larger but no real zip at present.
Over...

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Update: went out to feed the chickens and found this!!! She (broody girl #1) hatched before the ones in the bator!!!

Congrats Sewincircle! So cute!

We don't have anything against Texas - but they are a very large target, so easy to hit with the marshmallows. So is California for that matter...

I had 2 frizzles hatched this morning. Will take pics later when more hatched and all dry and nicely photogenic.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh how cute! Congrats Commander Sewincircle! Those broodiez got it goin! LOL

Frizzles? How fun! I want frizzles someday.. will be waiting for pics! Congrats Commander Moxon!

No pips here.. quiet morning

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

The new Modern Game I bought from the show laid ONE egg.. it's developing! I'm so jazzed.. LOL I hit the jackpot on that purchase! :)

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Hey! Are you intimating that I'm a lousy shot?! That's pretty nervy, C. I'm putting IA on my list... LOL

Congrats on your rugged little pioneer!
'Ain't nuthin' like the reeeeal thing, nuthin' like the reeeeaal thing, Baby..."

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Congrats, sewincircle, will you leave this little chicky w/ mom? I love how you frame your pics! Hope there are more babies when you get home. :-)

Congrats Claire! Can't wait for the pics. fluffy frizzy babies!

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

They're cute! They look like they are ready to pounce on bug flying by... where did it go?!
Do you get alot of eggs from them?

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Thanks everyone! I am at school many miles from home. DH is not answering the phone! (grumbling under breath) I have no updates as of yet. Just the one in the bator pipped and was ready to zip when I was getting ready to leave. And the one from under mama hen. I took the baby from her. Our coop was not well thought out for broody girls. The nesting box is up off the ground. I was afraid the little one would fall out and be gotten by the mean roo (pot pie)! She is sad. I cant look her in the eyes! :( My camera has the frame feature. I just dont know how to turn it off now. So every picture has a pretty frame. hehehe DH will love that. ;) I love your Comets Cindy!! Beautiful girls! Well better move on to next class. Women's History Seminar. This ought to be good. Have a great day all!!!
CMoxon...Pics are needed for photographic evidence and drooling. LOL

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

ZZ, are you going to incubate the egg? I am thinking yes. What is it then 19 days and counting now? Maybe you will get a roo! woohoo.

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Oh,(tears welling up) the poor little sad hen. How long does it take for a hen to forget she hatched a chick? I would think the attention span would be short? Better to be safe and away from the roo.
Your day must be going soooo slow; wondering what is going on at home. I'd be kicking DH's backside for not answering the phone!lol!

Brookville, PA(Zone 5a)

yes saanansandy i get lots of eggs from them..there are 16 and i get 16 a day with a day off once in awhile..
good luck in class..better learn lots to support the "kids"..

Aaaaiiiii!!! The insurgency is spreading!

Communications Specialist 'Nique... do you have your anti-mind-meld googles on? Very important... --OO--
You are our only source of reliable info...

Pfc. Jay... dancing in stimulating way....

Elbridge, NY

got them --OO-- i feel important :D
Just in.... I have moved the chick out of the incubator into
the brooder with the permision of sewincircle and all three
of the chicks are curled up together in the corner sleeping.
I have a feeling the older chicks are jealous that they are
getting all the attention and most of the brooder light.
Csn. Dominique

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Awwww...

Elbridge, NY

the pip in the bator is peeping loudly hopefully he/she will be hatching very soon :]

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Calling for re-inforcements? Transmitting new orders from chicken overmind?
Be careful, CS Dominique... watch the alien insurgent very cloooooosly.

I forget... what sort of little aliens are these?

Pfc Jay.. hanging out

Elbridge, NY

I am watch very cloooosly :] i think the aliens are called chickliens i think they call them that because once a chicken flew into space and it was then when aliens and chickens collided and chickliens where formed. I'm just taking a wild guess though. who knows :D
Cs.Dominique

Elbridge, NY

sewincircle will be home any minute now and she will be on :D

It's too dang cold to have a naked neck where you are... signs of alien intelligence! LOL

I think CS Dominique has it right about chickliens.... beware space dust contamination...

Wandering off in search of comestibles...
