Lovely patch of Lollypops there, Ticker.

invermontdirt, my nepalense are from McClure and Zimmermann (sp?). A bit spendy there. My seedlings are from seeds from the NALS seed exchange. Much more reasonable: 25 seeds for about a buck!

Nice group of Americans, Rfc!

How far north are you?

Thanks Pard, I know they are old, but I still love them.

I'm in Silver Lake, WI. It is between Lake Geneva and Kenosha (not sure if you've ever heard of either one of them). I'm about 1.5 hours from Magnolialover. I have to stop, but this is so much fun!!!

Altaville. This is one huge beautiful lily! I do believe it came from Faraway Flowers...

Pixie, that's a pretty sweet combo too! :)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

What a nice American crop you have there fishlady . You're so close I can almost smell them from my front window.

It's almost as nice to be reminded of summer now, when it is cold and frozen, than it is in July when it's hot.

'Silk Road' has to be one of the finest...

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

And in July, I like to play down here...

Pixie, I did that same combo too. We have excellent taste!! Here's another black & white combo, Nettie's Pride & Navona. I love "black" flowers.

Look at all those lovelies. Wish I had a nice fence like your Ticker.

I had such a great idea for a black and white combo last year in 'Eyeliner' and 'Dimention'...that is until a deer came over and bit just the buds off of 'Dimention'...then poor sweet 'Eyeliner' was on her own. Still very nice, but not quite the effect I had in mind.

And Conca d'Or... I love the yellow OTs.

'Gambetta' will fit right in at your house pard.

Don't you just love lily shopping for friends?

Kenosha, WI(Zone 5a)

Or maybe Catherine the Great

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Rcf, does your Boogie have any pink on it's Woogie? Mine didn't, last year was it's first year, tho...

Kenosha, WI(Zone 5a)

Or possibly Honeymoon? I've got to stop, some of my TV shows are on. Why can't the Hippeastrum forum be this much fun??? It's probably a good thing, or I'd never sleep!!!

Kenosha, WI(Zone 5a)

Ticker, yes there was a little pink on its' edges. Not very noticeable though.

Magnolialover, so you didn't get to see your Dimension in bloom? That is too bad. It is very beautiful, but not quite as dark as Landini.

And here is Maywood.

Thumbnail by pardalinum
Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Quite literally the day before it opened (or should I say the night before), the deer chewed it up, just the swollen buds. And it actually worked out that they were blooming together, which I was not sure would happen. I guess I should be happy they didn't take down the whole stalk.

The flower looked like it would be larger than 'Landini'. Is the flower bigger? I too, love those dark ones, same goes for the oriental darks.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Do you like my Pink Flares? Ha ha ha!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Lilies just love Oregon and Washington, don't they. So many times the colors come out so nice there, like 'Maywood'. Mine didn't look half as nice as yours pard.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Nice pard...maybe it should have been called 'Yellow Flicker'. Lol!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

I honestly thought it would be pink with a name like that...

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Wasn't it supposed to be?
