Bunny HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!!

Clarkson, KY

Could you give a definition for that delectable word you just coined, Dahlin'??

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Those are some spooky pics! Radioactive chick and Ichabod Cranes chicken! ahhhhh...(run screaming...)

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ROFLMAO @ sewincircle!!! I will post a def. of photosnarf when I stop ROFLMAO.

Clarkson, KY

now I get it....

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ok I can sit up now. Photosnarf: A photograph whose subject, exposure or milieu is not what one had hoped for.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Definition and spelling accepted. Carry on.

(Moxy is not going to discuss the angora bunny she just adopted because it has not been neutered yet and it isn't home yet, so she will only discuss it after it comes home. OMG it's so cute!)

Clarkson, KY

Well, I think I've found my photographic niche!!!

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

ohhhhh... I get it! Snarf, I like that word!

Clarkson, KY

Moxy -do you know the APW limit for this stretch of highway?? Think you've exceeded the 5A tolerance...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

There is a big photosnarf movement afoot. Perhaps we can get our own catagory in the DG 2009 photo contest?

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

I smell another thread for the funny farm Claire!!! hehehe

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

oh dang, I've deleted some great photosnarf... (only took me three attempts to spell it)

I cudda ben a champeen!

Clarkson, KY

I need more non-snarfworthy photos before I start deleting...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Me too. 'PhotoSnarf' is my largest file.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

APW? Animals per....what?

Clarkson, KY

Adoptions Per Week --but you were close. Slightly too narrow a focus, perchance?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Oh, but the sheep and goat were adopted on Saturday. That was last week.

So this week is only Daisy (the muscovy female) whom I have not mentioned yet either, and the bunny, who is not yet named, who has not yet arrived.

Clarkson, KY

So you're averaging 3apw? Just how long....:-p....

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Well, that all depends on what comes in to the Rescue League.... ;-)

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

I'd like to see a pic of the muscovy hen.

Clarkson, KY

Just so log as you keep your barn/adoption levels under the legal limit!!

{{{yes, I know, I'm fussing and it's none of my business, but you see I have the same amount of land and I couldn't do it!!....need to stop...you've got my mind boggled----If I can convince you it's too much then I won't be an under achiever you see -it's all very logical if you look at it psychologically...}}}

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

Does the rescue league have you on speed dial???

Clarkson, KY

Walkie-talkies...

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

ROFL!!!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Grow, it IS important to keep perspective...
C is singlehandedly keeping all those ancillary services we use meagerly in business... feed, supplies, fencing, feed, grooming, feed, lumber & hardware, feed....

if they had to rely on what you and I spend, they couldn't survive....

Thanks C!

(Zone 7b)

Jay you hit the nail on the head LOL

Clarkson, KY

Living Treasure, is that what they're called?!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Gooood Mornin' Hominy! We missed you at the swoon-in last night... LOL

I'd say the definitely C is a treasure, and near as I can tell she's still alive, so that'd fer sure make her a Living Treasure... better lock her up. =0)

At the rate she's going, she'll finish mornin' chores just in time to start evening chores...

Well, whatever blows yer ears back...
=o) Jay

(Zone 7b)

HAHAHAHA!!! Jay you are a hoot.

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Glad to bring a smile to yer face... every smile makes the world a friendlier place...

=0) Jay

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Jay - yer crackin' me up! Far as I can tell I'm still alive too, so we're 2 for 2. Woo hoo!

Cajun - here's a photo that the shelter sent me yesterday before I went to pick up the Muscovy hen. I will get some better ones soon when I have time, but this will give you an idea of her.

Congrats. on you new duck. Don't be surprised But be warned that down here they nest in the winter time.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

One more

Did the morning chores, went to morning class (Environmental Regulation of Agriculture), now at work, work until 3:45 when I go to afternoon class (Advanced Westlaw) and then I go to handspinning class, and then home by 8:45 to complete evening chores. And find something to eat...

Sigh.

Hopefully she won't do that here....it's just soooo cold!

I would probably nest in winter in Florida if I could....

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I read or heard that it was because they came from south of the equator. But that sounded strange to me.

There is a lot of homes and land for sale down here!!!!! Thought it might be too hot for the sheep and lamas.

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

C, I love work... I can watch it all day. LOL Yer ears are definitely flappin' in the wind of yer passage...

And here I though Muscovy meant they were from Moscow...

Livin' clueless and lovin' it...

I have to much time on my hands. And I was a heavy reader before the books get to heavy. Of course 20 books a week did weigh a lot. LOL Now I just look stuff up on this lap top.

Sandy

(Zone 7b)

Same here my lap top has become my Library.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Sandy - do you use Kindle? That electronic reader? You can get a lot of books for it and it's not heavy!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I use Audible.com and have down loaded a lot of books but non of them have many "nature" or old books or informational books like I use to read. I still buy a few books every couple of months. But no more trips to the library and checking out half the books there, beside I find it hard to concentrate on things.

One summer when I was is school age, I read the whole World Book Encyclopedias. Wish I could remember it all-poor brain is full of odds and ends of information. LOL
