Maybe we should do separate door prizes for the kiddos. I know Barb's son got my pruning shears once. LOL, she was happy enough, but I don't think he was too thrilled. Maybe those who are bringing children could bring an extra door prize that kids would like, and we could have a different drawing just for them?

Yes it does! I remember one of Mama Jacks kids getting compost or chicken poo once and he was not happy.
Maybe while we are having our door prize drawing, they could have theirs also. We could call two and them call one, then us two....etc. Maybe we can talk one of the teenagers into being the one heading it up.

Not me. Been meaning to call that lady. I am just not getting things done lately!
The last i heard she was having computer trouble and couldn't get a new one, but that was some time ago.
I can see where she posted in 2009 but only shows to be registered, not a subscriber. Hope someone that has her phone number will call and give her the info and invite her and the family.
I'll be there! I am so happy that I get to finally meet some of you. The fall get-together is usually at the same time as the Wellness Expo in Dallas and I'm usually speaking there that weekend plus have a booth.

Bring yourself and a door prize, something inexpensive but useful, if you bring a guest bring two prizes. We will be putting up a thread for food as we get closer.

As for plants if that is what you are concerned about....It is kind of early but just look around and see what might be coming up in your garden or you relatives(lol) that needs thinning out or that you don't want. Pot up whatever you have and someone will take them in trade. The trade link is at the top of this thread. We don't require you bring anything but just have fun!! That is a must!!
My cousin has asked me to house-sit (and dog-sit) that weekend so I'll be in the Metroplex. I'm not sure how much swapping I'll be able to do but I'd love to come and meet you.
Meeting other members face to face is the best part! Happy you are going to get to come.

I will be atttending this one. I now have a car that will make the trip. (hopefully) I just found out about it but I will say me +one. I have some Datura seedlings that I started. Some Marigolds, ( yellow) and some Iris. Maybe I will have some surplus veggies and seeds to trade as well. I would love to meet everyone.

Alright, the Arlington people are coming out, Hooray!!!
Just wanted to pop in and say I'm sure gonna miss seein y'all this time . We have to go back up north for a nephews wedding that takes place on the 4th of April so we won't be able to come this time.
But I'm sure gonna be thinkin of y'all while up there as we know it is cooler up there and I would much rather be playing wtih plants and friends.
Have a great time as I know you will and lord willing I'll be able to make it in the fall or see some of ya in May in east texas.

All y'all made us feel so welcome at the first RU we ever went to after moving down here almost 2 yrs ago now.
But I'll be looking forward to see ya in May if ya make it over my way for the East Texas RU and hope to make it in the fall if I make it through my daughters wedding the firs part of September LOL

Are we planning a potluck lunch or would it be easier for everyone to have lunch on his own prior to the RU? Either way is fine with us. We are planning to make a week-end of it and see the Rangers play on Saturday, so I am making plans. (Purchasing Rangers tickets online is a challenge with one minute allowed for this page and 90 seconds allowed for the next. They did allow 5 minutes to complete the payment by credit card page. :>))
This RU is sneaking up on us with just a couple of weeks to go! Winter takes a loooong time, but spring just gallops by!
Just found out, I'll be in San Antonio for a conference on April 5th. Will try to make it next year.
Sorry Collin....will be missed.
