Yes Melva, this time we hope will be your lucky one.
North CENTRAL TX RU **April 5th ** in ARLINGTON ( Sign up #1
Count me in, that's the weekend before my birthday. I don't see anything wrong with treating myself to a Gardening Round Up for my birthday present to myself. LOL I'll most likely be alone.
Now I got to figure out just what I can bring.....time to get the rest of my stuff winter sown....
Happy Gardening, Marian
Great Marian, look forward to meeting you.
Bananna, I have your Winged Loosestrife potted up, now. It'll probably do better with a spring transplant, anyway.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/948924/ Here is a place to post your photos and match your dg name to your call name. I would love to have everyone's name matched up with their photos so I can be sure of who I am talking to. Please forgive the sometimers disease. I figure that others out there may appreciate it also.
Charlene
I added my photo, I've been to 2 ru's in the past but wasn't on the computer much for awhile so I've lost touch with most of y'all.
Hey Sherill welcome back online! Glad you are going to make it this year.
Ok......let's get going here ......April 5th is closer than you think.
Make plans to be there!
bump...
Won't be making any Roundups this year.
"eyes"
Oh,I am sorry you can't make it, I hope things are O.K.
Josephine.
Count me in!

We all need to hold Jerri (eyes) and her DH, John...in our hearts.

This will be my first one. Can't wait. Oldmansdarlin + DH + 2 (mom & sister) hopefully. Don't know what I will have yet. Just started planting.
Great! welcome to the group, we look forward to meeting you.
Josephine.
Warning OMD...You will be hooked afterward!!! LOL!
bump!!!
It is only 7 weeks away!!!! Let's get signed up and motivated to do our trade list in the next couple of weeks. Start potting up those extras.
Just e-mailed Smockette and she will probably attend.
Ted, I just want you to know that the cockscomb you gave me last fall was beautiful. My DD doesn't care too much for most plants, DH only likes a few, but they both really loved that plant. I have never seen one with such a huge velvety top (big as a cabbage). It is a traffic stopper.
I wonder if it comes in other colors? I love the deep red you shared with me.
Thanks again,
Charlene
All right, y'all got started on this one without me, didn't you? :) Sheila, if you need help, I'll be glad to do whatever I can.
I expect to be there, but don't know who'll be with me. I also have NO idea what I'll have to trade yet.
I am about at the same place on the plants to trade, but I guess we will soon find out.
I have a lot of sticks in pots but have no idea if anything has a root. Jo, the milkweed lost all of it's leaves and has now put out again. Still don't know what happened to the Monarch cat.
The milkweed will be fine, the monarch probably crawl off and pupated somewhere.
On the cuttings, if you pull on them gently and there is resistance, they could be rooted, also if there is top growth, they are usually rooted.
Josephine.
Hey, Lynea, good to see you too. :) Hand's all healed up now and you can't even tell.
That is super good news, Patty.
Thanks, Christi!
It looks like I won't be able to make this one after all. I have a genetics conference in Austin the 2-4, and it would just be way too much for one weekend. Everyone have fun!
:) Kim
Glad you are going to make it Patty! Sorry you won't be there Kim, but your education does get priority, we will miss you.
If we are in town, I plan to drag DH with me and go. This will be the first round-up for me and sounds interesting. When do you need a final commitment from us? Here's hoping...Tricia
Just let us know when you are sure, in the meantime keep reading the tread to find out what is going on. We ar looking forward to meeting you also.
Josephine.
Great Tricia! You will love it I am sure.
I haven't been by in a while, but I am so excited to see that there is going to be a RU so close! We will be there with bells on. :D
GreenerBeaner +2 (one kiddo and DH)
Great! We are looking forward to seeing you and your family.
Josephine.
I guess I need to bring something for the doorprizes that's better than what I brought last year - a gallon of compost tea.
shouldn't be too hard to think of something.............
;^)
Carl
Carl, compost tea is very valuable, but might be more appropriate as a trade item.
I once brought a bag of home made compost as a prize, and the little girl who won it almost cried.
So I think many of us have been there.
Josephine.

Only the true gardeners can appreciate compost, compost tea, and mulch as door prizes.
I just picked up some cattle grade black strap liquid molasses yesterday. this year will be the first time using it. Now, if I could just find a place that sells earth worms in bulk.
collincountytx, do you want to win a bucket of earthworms? Now that would surely make a non gardener cry...or worse.
