I noticed you have had a few request for people to change there user name. Maybe you could make it so people could do this themselves. This could maybe show up on there own page so others could go there and see who they used to be. Then again maybe it might cause to much confusion. Just a thought. Do what you think is best.

Confusion would ensue if people had the ability to change their username whenever they wanted to. I also see it as a tool that can be abused.

I like it the way it is: People have to go through me to do it. Then, I can review the case and make sure it's good before I do it.

Following the rule of thumb: "Anything worth doing is worth scripting", I have now written a tool for myself to change a username for someone. It involves updating about 25 different database tables, and I can now do it with the click of a mouse.

Yeh it would be a big headache if everyone were changing there name's. All well it was just a thought.
