Greetings from Mexico

Well thanks Margaret! So I'm assuming your honey eaters are hanging out on those trees. Seems to be a favorite here.

Thanks for the IDs Resin. Would you believe that Northern Mockingbird is a first for me? I had to go to Mexico to see one!

haha. Cross posted Nanny. YAH! I was so amazed how a hummingbird in the desert let me get closer than the ones at home!

Hi Mrs. Ed!! I have been enjoying your trip immensely but have been unable to comment until now as I have been locked up with a 3 year who has the attention span of a 3 year old! LOL! I love all the colorful birds you are posting and am extremely impressed with your ID abilities!! LOL...who knew?

Margaret...beautiful shots!

Have a safe trip home Marna and see ya when you get back!

Thanks for sharing your holiday with us. We had some good laughs. Resin's shaking in his boots, fearing he's about to be toppled as master ID'er.

Congratulations Marna...what a fabulous trip it must have been!

Well it was wonderful weather, but I was disappointed that I did not get to make it to the canyon where I expected to see many birds and butterflies. So there I was trekking through the desert!

I know there must have been numerous birds I could not identify because of no picture. I know for sure that the California Quail did NOT want to be photographed! I saw some sort of a hawk, lots of little warbler/vireo sized birds too. a couple other hummingbirds that weren't close enough to photograph, etc.
