I'm enjoying your trip Marna.
Greetings from Mexico
Hey Margaret, Look at the horizon on THAT picture!
Now that's my kind of horizon. D'ya know that some clever people can straighten them?
Ha. Thanks Resin.
I think this is that great white egret
Yep!
Brown pelican and friends
Great Blue Heron, and an immature gull, probably Western Gull.
a little white one with yellow feet
Snowy Egret

Beautiful pics Marna!
Hey, Mrs Ed, I really like the bird with the striped head and the Oriole. Pretty good, considering your camera issues.
LOL!!! I like the one with the stiped head and the white one with yellow feet!! You are such a treasure Mrs. Ed!! lol
Looks like a Royal Poinciana. I have never seen orioles in S. FL so Im just taking a guess.
I know your in mexico, its just ive seen alot of RP trees in s. fl, just never an oriole.
Great pics Mrs Ed! I especially like the pelican shots.
Gull at the beach.

Fantastic shot of the Brown Pelican Mrs Ed.
So when young lads saying they're going to ogle the gulls at the beach, THAT'S what they're referring to.
Ooow, I know what that tree is. We have one. It's an African Tulip tree (Spathodea Campanulata). The photo is one I took of our tree in flower about two or three years ago.
hopefully more tomorrow morning before we leave.
Another cactus wren? - yep!
Something looking around a branch… - a flycatcher, not sure which
something claiming a cactus… - Northern Mockingbird
Gila Woodpecker? - yep, adult male
Adorable hummingbird - possibly Costa's, will need to check for other possibilities
Gila Woodpecker? again? - yep, female this time (no red cap)
This was the "hole" - House Finches (both pics)
Resin
cool tree, it the color of the poinciana, and has the leaves, but the poinciana doesnt have just one big flower like that. Glad you knew it.
Very nice pics Marna!
WOW that is just magnificant. I have never seen the tulip trees in person, but the royal poinciana has always held first place in my heart of blooming trees I have seen. Kwansan Cherry is next...totally different zone.
Hey, you only had to go to Mexico to get a hummer pic!!
Nice pics all of them!
