Is this Black Pagoda or something else? Rain sent it to me, but I lost the tag!

It looks like Black Pagoda but mine has never bloomed. Do ours even look alike?
Mine has been on the cold front porch all winter. Maybe when spring rolls around she might think of blooming. I hope so! Yours is beautiful.

Gail, your plant is HUGE and gorgeous! I can just imagine it covered in those flowers. Awesome!!!!

How is your Tropicana doing? I have one measly bloom. LOL

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

I have plant fever now, unfortunately. I can't do anything about it now! Come on Spring!!!!! I emailed Gary asking for availability of some streps, maybe he will get back to me soon.
Have you ever ordered from Belisle's?

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

Gogeous Black Pagoda!! The cuttings you sent me Gail are doing great^_^

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

My best understanding is that Belisle's is great at these big shows with terrific plants, but I have had friends order cuttings and be very disappointed in what they got?????????? Maybe someone who has ordered from them will come along.

Let me go see what Tropicana is doing right now.
She is covered in blooms so she must like having a cool period outside on the porch........
I took the picture of a small side of her so you could see the blooms better.

I am so scatterbrained, Gran, I didn't even know I sent you any cuttings........great!
Can hardly wait until spring when packing is not such a hassle and you know your effort is not wasted with frozen plants and cuttings arriving at people's homes.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

My Black Pagoda has only bloomed once. I hope it does more this summer.

M3 I love the little darlin

All of the pics are very pretty flowers.

Pretty ones Gail--I like Black Pagoda and Tropicana too. Nice to see all these flowers in the frozen Tundra!

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

Gail, your Tropicana blooms are pretty. I love the guppy look of Nematanthus flowers. Gorgeous!

Too bad about Belisles. I had about $175 worth of plants I was going to order from them come spring!!!!(Wish List, you know.) :)

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

i have ordered plants from belieles many times & always got nice plants from them, never had a problem at all. they have a wonderful list of plants.

Sometimes if I am not sure about a vendor, I will place a small order to see how it goes. If I am satisfied with plants and service, then I will place the larger order. Then there are the times my impulse control wains and I throw caution to the wind--LOL

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Bonnie would know if she has ordered from them. It was KimsKreations who was so upset about her order from them.

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

i usually order from them every spring, as she has alot of mini sinns & also streps that i wanted. everything was always nice.

Susan,

Your shelves and plants look great! I want to do that with all my gessies, especially the large streps that get top heavy and tip over, but I have to get a new shelf unit first. Can't wait!

Sarah

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Looks beautiful, Sue. All your blooming plants are so pretty!!!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Thank you so much... I really worked hard on those shelves.... This coming from a person who will tell you I HATE AV's but I guess I can't say that anymore... I do love the little ones... They are so cute....
Hugs,
Sue

Great job! Very nice!

I love "playing" with my AV's on my shelves! I love to change them around, turn them, clean the shelves. I love to have them all pretty. I keep the av's all away from each other, no touching!

Susan, wow is all I can think of to say. Your african violets are beautiful! I know the amount of work that took but it certainly looks like it was worth your effort.

With plants that pretty, no, you can't say you don't like avs. I still can, though!^_^

I will share my photos of our trip to the valley nursery hunting tomorrow. But I do want to share two new sinningia blooms when I came home late today.

Here is another sinningia speciosa purple peloric from seed.

You never know what you're 'gonna get' with these seeds. This one has a marker called Jack Evans Purple and just can't be right, but she is beautiful nonetheless.

We were exhausted as we couldn't stop 'going' and 'seeing'. My friend has to be back at work soon so we are going to pot up her plants today and give each one a sheet from the plant files. She keeps a notebook on her plants.

I have been up for two hours since I got my days and nights mixed up..........the last couple of days.
My friend 'snores' and we were sharing a room.

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)
