What are your gardening plans for the New Year?

My peutnias from seed didn't germinate too well.

I find petunia seed a real pain to harvest flowerjen. I often do it to early or too late. Maybe you too?

at the end of the season i just collect seed - or spread them in teh container they are in and let nature take its course. initial plants were wave - some come back true others come back with mixed color and white - we think pots look better than the original waves look.

I do not put one seed in seed starting flat - a sprinkle a bunch of them.

I actually ordered seed last year to try it and was not impressed with the germination rates.

the last two years i ordered wave seeds of colors i did not have - and those double flowered petunia's from pinetree. other than having to dump the seeds on a white piece of paper so i could see the little b---------ds - i had no problem with germination at all. all i use is scott's seed started mix.

Flowerjen I think you got a bad batch of seed :( I sow my purchased waves directly into their big containers and they germinate just fine for me. wha I think those little b-------ds seed are horticulturally known as 'teensyweensy' seed. O you're Scott's fan; I'm a soiless Promix fan myself.
