Bullwinkle and the lads were fun at work yesterday, they were giving art instructions but we sure got off topic and didn't finish our project...
Was listening in on Missy and Bullwinkles conversation this morning as I was telling them today was the day they get to travel and visit yet another wonderful DG friend....
Bullwinkle was saying that although he and the lads didn't get to visit much due to all the storms they did enjoy their rest...
I wish the lads a safe journey .. I'd say they had a wonderful time with you Betty ^_^

Betty, you've been a very gracious hostess. Look at all the new skills they have acquired; tarp-making, rag-quilting, not to mention decorating & painting. They are going to be the most well-rounded gnomes in gnomedom by the time they finish their cross-Canada journey.

Betty here for Bullwinkle and the lads...
I so did enjoy their visit...perhaps if they are in the area again and in a different season I'll be able to bring them on the 'tourist' trail ...
They helped me tremendously with their vast array of knowledge...last project was the snowblower tarp..
They'll be happy to know I'm looking after my equipment..
So here they were, all packed up, ready to travel..
No sooner had the box taped up when I realized all the paperwork was on the counter...so Todd when you receive the package you will see a pretty napkin..lol...look underneath and all the paperwork will be there...
They're off...

That was so much fun, Betty. Though I'm green with envy at the number of skills you have.
I think one of the best things about this gnome-tour is getting to see some of parts of Canada that we might never get to visit. What a wonderful, interesting, beautiful and diverse country we have - just like the members of this forum!!

And may I add to that? The GNOME VISIT got ME out to see the sites I had long forgotten here in Thunder Bay. I enjoyed it more than they did I am sure !!

I enjoyed their visit with you, Betty. Hope they have a wonderful trip to Newfoundland. And Marilynne, they were successful in getting us out and around in Ottawa too. As long as I've lived here (since 1970), I've never done more than just drive past the rapids at Hogsback. The lads got us right out there.

Any word on whether they've arrived in Newfoundland?
Haven't heard, but the length of time it's taking some packages from my area to get there, who knows..have to stop in the post office to check on a few of them, the girl that works weekends often gets quite confused..will do come checking..
Put in the tracking number and it says it was successfully delivered on the 19th...Bullwinkle and the lads will be starting a new journey...

Waiting patiently, well kinda, for some pics. Always wanted to go to Newfoundland but we decided it would take 3 weeks to enjoy it. Can't wait to see where the lads are.

Hey guys, I completely forgot about the knomes and Bullwinkle.....I was in Vancouver on a conference and just got back today....lo and behold a package! The boys will entertain themselves until the weekend as I am up to my eyeballs at work trying to catch up after being gone a week....they are currently sniffing my orchids!
The boys couldn't wait so here they are!
