Fun Random Bird feature :)

You know it needs to happen. Would go great with the fun random image and bugs, wouldn't it?

Would also be really nice if we could line all 3 side by side on our home page ^_^

That info isn't readily available to me. It's buried in the profiles of all the members and if I took the time I could count them up, but...

ackkk...no counting!! I thought you could maybe push a button and the stats would magically appear...

How do you go about having the random images appear on your home page, please? The random plant image has always been there but I cannot figure out how to get the bird image to show. Help!

I love this feature!

The fun random images change more frequently than every day--or at least the plant one does so I assume the others would as well. I'd guess they change at least a couple times an hour although I haven't really paid that close attention.

Yep, all those "Fun Random Pictures" features change every 10 minutes, actually at exactly every ten minutes. Top of each hour, then :10, :20, :30, etc.

Why not at random intervals?^_^

I just noticed on Joan's post...the time she posted is current to my time zone but her edit time shows her time zone...how cool is that, it looks to me like she edited it 2 hours before she actually posted it.

I actually edited it less than a minute after the initial post because I messed up the quote box. So the edit times show up in a different than the post?

Interesting. To me it shows that I posted at 8:02 and edited at 8:03.

Grownut, are you looking for the Fun Random Bird Image? Click on the Home tab and look around the page to see if you see it. It can be different depending on how you have your page set up. Do you have your home page set up to show the plant and insect images?

Just found it. Thank you! My home page is there and has a life of its own -seemingly unrelated to mine. Perhaps I need to explore it a little more:-)

Good! You can play around with how it's set up by going to My Info - Manage your preferences - and Customize home page in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
