I saw my first WS baby sprout yesterday. It's a container sweet pea. Since some folks around here sow sweet peas in the fall, anyway, I'm not too worried about it. If we get another freeze, I'll probably toss a sheet over it.
Have to say somehting a little OT. It's been fun harvesting lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower the last few days. First time we've grown any of those. They are loving the cooler weather and the few frosts we've had haven't phased them in the least.
What have you wintersowed so far????
Does someone, i know Karen and Zen have "snow covered" containers ... to post an image for a new thread... this one is getting really long and i'm sure tough to load for some. [i checked and i dont have any snow covered containers.]
Thanks Heny --- New thread is started..... come on over......... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/944998/
