I had a Fox Sparrow stop in today! Much earlier than last year...

It kept staring at me...kind freaked me out! lol

Cardinal's pretty. What lovely, soft colors the fox sparrow is nanny.

Nanny - I think you have every right to be concerned about that bird. There's something odd about him.

Mar................na they're her..............e!!!! lol They landed safely at about 1:30 pm this afternoon. They don't look too tired from the trip.
Look at those cute shiny beady little eyes.
They come in great numbers every year, except for the Hoary, which was for lack of food up North. Still curious to see, if they'll come this year.

I just love looking at all your pictures. After I had shovelled some snow, I sat on the front stoop with my camera. The Juncos were so busy they paid me no mind and I was only 2 feet away.

Have not seen too many Doves recently....this Mourning Dove showed up this morning.

Two Goldfinch came around today.

Hopefully more will show up.

This is the first year I have put up a Goldfinch feeder with thistle seed.
