I have a pretty big driveway which I end up shoveling by myself most of the time. I live with my elderly father, my youngest sister, and her 18-year-old daughter. Talk about a useless teenager. She never helps out with anything at the house unless her mother lights a fire under her or threatens her somehow. Right now she is in the living room with her boyfriend watching TV and has been doing that all day long. Oh, she is baking cookies as well, but guess who will get stuck with cleaning up the mess. Me!!!! She never offers to do the dishes. I feel for you, Carrie!
Okay, enough about that.

Mine are slightly better than that. No local boyfriends (but Mom is dragging her to a GYN appt. next week). I feel for you too, Karen! How old is your baby sister? Where is this child's father? Or shouldn't I ask? I probably don't want to know.
My last hair cut (in October) the hairdresser and I got to talking about ex-husbands and I nearly ended up bald!

My baby sister is about 40, and her daughter's father is in Phoenix, AZ. He left just shortly after his daughter was born, and it took my sister a lot of years to track him down to get child support from him. He has only met his daughter once, back in 2000 I think, when I was living in Arizona and they came for a visit, along with my Alaskan sister and my brother, his girlfriend (who became his wife) and her son.

Here comes snow again tomorrow 5-6" predicted. DH liked shoveling & even had a flat pusher, 2 handles, with which to move snow. We did have a snow blower, now broken, & even when it worked he complained about where the snow was thrown. We have a straight 80ft driveway so a simple job.
Send some of that snow down here!!!
More snow?!!! Sigh! I guess I won't be going to lunch tomorrow. Looks like we're gonna get gusty winds with that snow, which could mean blizzard conditions.

It's snowing here now. I think we are supposed to get about 5 inches or so.
It's been snowing here since about 9:30 this morning. We're supposed to get 8" here. I went to brunch at a local restaurant and it was white-out conditions. Crazy of me to go out in it for something that was totally unnecessary.

I've seen that the news has lots of pictures of motorists who were not as fortunate. We got about 9" ourselves today. Good thing it was light and fluffy.
