Ok ! I keep looking . What did I miss?!

Michele, Dave put the most recent photo additions in their own table, beneath the newest plant additions to the database.

I asked Dave to add something like this, and - as with most of our requests - he was lightning quick with his reaction. A DG member made a comment that made me think we haven't put the same emphasis on photos in the database as we do for new plants or descriptions. And the photos contributed are certainly as important and valuable as the plants or descriptions we add.....

Ummm, the newsletter didn't change - yet. I hear tell we should watch for tomorrow's edition :)

Vols...are you trying to keep me up all nite every nite waitng in anticipation wondering what this new change is gonna be? I'm a nervous Rex!

Shoe, I suspect you sleep like a baby, and that nothing EVER disrupts your slumber!

But just in case this is really causing insomnia for ya, the changes have already been made.....did you spot them?

The images being added to the database are now given "equal treatment" like the new plant entries. From the homepage (the one that says "Welcome Home, Horseshoe", scroll down past the forums, and past the most recent database additions. There you'll find a table of the most recent images, which you can click on if you want to see them.

Dave also included the number of new images in the daily stats within the newsletter. Now we can see the daily efforts of those working "behind the scenes", adding new plants, descriptions and images to the database. Way to go, Dave!

And a big standing ovation for everyone who has added photos before, during and after the August contest - they have been the unsung and unrecognized heroes of the database for sure!!!!

I find more and more plant entries created by one person, general description added by someone else, cultivars or propagation tips added by other gardeners, and photos added by one or two photographers. Entries like that are what make our database incredibly special, valuable and unique.

Okay, I edited it. Sorry, Horseshoe!!!! Now I know what else Dave needs to add - spellcheck!

"HorseHOE"? How rude!! (hehehehe) Okay, I be looking in the morning closer! And yes, I agree, there sure are a good bunch of folks out there contributing (unlike my lazy butt). ('Course now, give me some indoor weather and a bit more knowledge w/my camera and I'll chip in!)
