Ahhh. yeah, that is the lighter part ....thanks! Now I 'see' it. LOL
Is this a Cooper's? I think I need to go get glasses checked out....

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Check out the bug in this gal's mouth! If only she would have ventured to the sunny side of the tree! I think the bug is a Giant Wheel Bug which is a beneficial. I hate it when one bug eater eats another one!

Kind of hard to control that!!

Best that I could do with the ducks flying over the other day....

Those are a good example of where they got their name!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

That second one is still pretty good considering!

Florence, MS(Zone 8b)

Snow was falling today. Dark and dreary. If there had only been enough light to get a larger DOF this might have been a good shot of these house sparrows waiting for their turn at the feeder.

LoL Resin nothing passes by you.

A Goldfinch flew in as I was taking this one, of the Evening Grosbeak.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

That is a keeper burn!! I just would die to see an Evening Grosbeak!!

Gee Resin..I had such faith in you to be able to ID all things flying!! lol

That first one is... hmmm...interesting pelle...very nice legs & feet! :)

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Nanny, you fail the test!!!! LOL Thanks fro your comment of the Evening Grosbeak. I'm afraid , by the looks of it they 're going to make me declare bankruptcy soon. Only had a few last year. This year, I could count easily 50+. Good thing the Starlings didn't stick around, when they came.
Elphaba and Flowerjen thanks.
Pelle,Good bloopers.
Here's my bad blooper, first male Pine Grosbeak see, this winter, and I missed the shot. Tried to work wonders with it but didn't work.

I've got to dig DEEP into my archives and see if I can find a picture I took in say, 1984 of a tree full of Evening Grosbeaks on spring migration. First and only time I've seen them.

PERTH, Australia

Ethereal is the word that comes to mind, Nanny.

Nice chain Pelle. Good and sharp. Seriously though, those two Cardinal shots are still OK. Cute little feet.

I was just driving home from the beach and missed getting a shot, good or bad, of a Kookaburra at a bus stop. It would have been an award winner.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Nanny! Sandhill Cranes?! Ya, right! You're just trying to beat me to 150!

Pelle, those cardinal shots are pretty cool. Your challenging yourself to try cool motion shots now, huh!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Don't worry Elphaba they are already on the list! lol

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

They're not on mine! I'll have to get my behind out this weekend and find some sandhill cranes!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Every time I go to my Mom's, I try to get a picture of a Tufted Titmouse.

This was the closest I could get and blah!
