Cyber Arrangements

Waterman, IL(Zone 5a)

It's a machine that digs a narrow trench so you can bury a pipe without causing too much mess.

I did another one this morning. I used an old vase marked German with crossed swords. I can't read the makers mark though. I put daylilies, bluestem, Golden Alexanders, a coneflower and coreopsis. One thing fun about a cyber bouquet is all he flowers don't have to be in season to make an arrangement, unless you use silk flowers. That could get costly.

Nice. Are you drawing your flowers or altering real ones?

Cool arrangements Zany!
Diana, nice cheerful spring like arrangement!

You are all so good at these cyber arrangements, I'm really enjoying them, Thanks!

Pastime, your lucky you can get a ditch witch.. I am gonna have to dig mine down by hand. We are on sand. And it has been know to turn to qwick sand. Depending on the rainy season will too depend on how soon and top that we usually have a high water table.

My mistake was not dragging the hose and did a few buckets and the stopping and starting of the pump and the extreme 20 below weather did not allow it to drain properly.

On th egood side, our 500 gallon trough did defrost today and some snow melted.

Its about time!

Zanymuse: I drew them on a Mac using Adobe Illustrator, which is a vector program. I have about 100 so far. They are all prairie plants found in Illinois. This cyber arrangement thread gives me a chance to play with them again. Haven't drawn a new one in a while.

Blossombuddy: It's thawing here today too. My frozen car door finally opens again. It must be quite a site watching me climb over the center console in a Wrangler to get to the passenger side, especially with a big winter coat on. Glad that's over.

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Pastime - got up to 65. Running around here without a coat.... but you know how that goes, give it a few hours and that will change...sheesh, from 20 below to 65 above in 5-6 days.. now that is extreme! I hate Illinois weather in the winter! But thankfully spring is coming... yeah right like maybe in May!! LOL!

No pics today.. been filing seed.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I have Adobe Ilustrator 9.0 and 10.0 here somewhere but have never tried to draw anything with it. I may have to put the old gray matter to use and learn how to play with it... the illustrator not the gray matter ;~) But it will have to wait until life settles down a bit so I can concentrate.

What a happy pappy that little froggie appears to be in the sweetness of those petals!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Well, I can twist them, turn them, change the effects, crop, but still no cut and past...please tell me I do not have to go to the windows thingee... PhotoImpression is great, but well, hate to say it, I cannot do the cut and paste... I am at a loss on how to!

Well, back to the drawing board...maybe one day I wil figure that one out.

Cool petal tree terri!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I could tell you how to do it in psp blossom, perhaps you could google a tutorial on your program for cut and paste?
Here is a little snowglobe that may take us from winter into spring.

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

haighr, that is STUNNING.. I will take you up on some instruction..

That snow globe would make for a lovely Christmas/holiday/ New years card!

I am going to try to get on Windows Paint and see what my machine has there.. maybe I can have some fun with the PhotoImp and that one with Capture and cut and paste if that is where have to go....

I wil try that and let you know what I come up with!

I just learned how to do movies on this thing.. now would that not be cool to do wild videos of arrangements there! Well not today, but hold that thought!

Gotta run.. I have a shelter full of starving animals.... catch you back here again!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Get those animals taken care of and come on back. What program are you using blossom?

london England, United Kingdom

WOW! Candee, Love the snow globe, now that is clever!!!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

photo impressions 6.5

Quoting:
When you’re ready to take your photo editing beyond the basics, a set of advanced tools gives you pixel-level control. The Heal and Clone tools make skin blemishes and distracting objects magically disappear. ,The Clipboard lets you copy and paste elements from one photo to another.

What version do you have?

Waterman, IL(Zone 5a)

Candee, the snow globe is very nice. Good job. Hope to find some time today to play with everyone.

Diana

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Well, I went to PAINT on Windows and found out I can cut and paste

Moving things around and making cuts and copies on the other hand..... still learning so I still have nothing to show.
