PinkysPlants, where are you???

Don't know if this is the right forum for "missing persons" so sorry if I posted it in the wrong forum.

Has anyone heard from PinkysPlants lately?

We arranged a trade so I sent her a package of plants two weeks ago but i haven't heard anything back from her.

My dmails haven't been answered also.

I was wondering if anyone has any info on her and if she is all right.

I'd try going to a forum that you saw her in a lot and ask over there, that's where she's most likely to have been spotted most recently (or where you're most likely to find someone who knows if she's on vacation, etc). Or if you don't see her regularly in any of the forums you hang out in, try going to her member page and looking at the threads she's started, that may give you a place to start in terms of where she posted most frequently.

Well, she disappeared without completing her part of the trade.

She is keeping very active on another website.

Can you contact her on the other website? That way in case it's something weird like her computer logged her out of DG and she doesn't remember her password maybe you can get in touch with her there and still get your things from the trade.

she has a myspace-she posted the link in her trade thread

notmartha... that is how i tracked her down.

If I were in a trade with her... in this position... I would have a bad feeling about it... that she is not holding up her end of the trade... that is just what my gut is telling me.

I also noticed that the link to her "Haves/Wants" list has been taken down... almost like she is not "here" anymore.

Hopefully Spider can track her down and get the trade completed. I too hate seeing anyone get "burned".

Please leave negative feedback when you're unable to resolve a problem like this... I often word mine gently, unless I know definitely that there were no extenuating circumstances... you can always change the feedback if you get in touch and resolve things, but meanwhile people should know that this person is currently having a problem completing trades.

I know there have been instances lately where people leave negative feedback and are them bombarded with angry Dmails from that person's DG pals... I think we need to start forwarding Dmail of that type to admin. The feedback system will not work if people hesitate to report any experience that wasn't satisfactory by giving negative or neutral feedback.

her "Blog" was updated on the first of Dec.

when you google her user name, it seems she's been all over various gardening sites, not just Daves.

It does look like MySpace is the only way to get thru to her... and whether or not she answers... that's another question.

Even if it's a temporary glitch in communication, I think it's better to let people know about it. They might still arrange a trade but wait for the other person's box first, for example.

I can tell you... when i first saw her posts about plants for jewelery ... i did consider it... but knowing what i know now, and if i would have read any feedback regarding this issue... i certainly would stay clear.

What a great bunch of detectives!!! I knew i could count on all of you for help!

I don't have enough courage to contact her. I am not feeling very healthy at the moment and I know i will get upset if I do it.

I think i will just try and forget it. Just a bad experience.

I was just checking my dmails and we first contacted each other on november 3rd, one month ago. she will have had enought time for a short dmail, at least, to let me know what is happening.

I will leave a short polite feedback just in case anyone else wants to do a trade with her.
