Got some shelves today. Now (don't laugh, Gail!) I've just got to get the kids in bed so I can work on putting them together!
Hooray!! You got some grow light stands going..............keep us informed...........which ones did you get? Don't tell me..........wait and take a picture.
Syrumani...when I got my shelves I had to put them together, then try to figure out how to attach lights which were too long...and I discovered you should make sure the lights WORK before attaching them!
I wound up on my back on the floor with my head in the shelves trying to twist bulbs and it took forever and a stiff neck!
Be forewarned...lol...
But it was SO worth it!
Now I have to re-set them up and do it all over when I get more plants!

Sharon.........I have my lights hanging on little chains so I can move them up and down.........what do you mean by re-set them.................are you ready for more plants.........I have av babies but they are too small to send out yet..........just tell me .............
I don't need to set them up again till the leaves I have down produce plants...
Right now the shelves are outside with other things on them and the lights are in the storage room.
I just hope I still have the chains....I lose things easily!
Hopefully I will have babies myself...maybe we can trade!

I got a very nice surprise in the mail.Eileen (imadigger) sent me a pair of garden gloves and a card.Thank you Eileen for such a nice gift. A hostess gift is not necessary but I love them and will put them to good use:) ^_^ Hope you all had a nice holiday,Jan

So sorry I was late getting your prize out to you. I was in bed sick with the flu for three days and the card with the money sat here on my kitchen table for a few days before finally making it to the mail box! I think it went out the day before Thanksgiving so if you didn't get it Friday it should arrive today!
Thanks to everyone for another really fun Bingo game! I won't be able to play if there's a December game. A busy time of year and my Dad isn't doing very well so I will be concentrating on other things for the time being. Hopefully in January or February I'll be ready to hold cards again or maybe play. I really love holding cards ... it's so much fun getting to "watch" everyone's cards to see how they are doing!

I get them at a local nursery,Indian Creek,on their end of the year closeout rack.Haven't run across a flamingo,but I will keep my eyes open..LOL.
I am going to look on Ebay and see if they have any for a reasonable price.There are no markings to tell who made them.I have or have had lions,hippos,elephants,turtles and owls so far.Oh,and pigs.

I received two really nice, unexpected gifts too ... for being card holder in the November game. It really isn't necessary to send me anything, I love holding the cards and having the fun of playing along!
Imadigger/Eileen sent me a real nice pair of gardening gloves ... Thank You, Eileen! I will certainly get good use of them ... always need gloves!
Ibrabec/Lynn sent me the cutest little Turtle! I planted a little Cryptanthus in it but will probably change it out as the plant grows larger. I'm thinking this little guy would be great for a Chirita tamiana or one of the mini Sinningia's! Thank you Lynn ... I love this cutie that I call "churtle". I love Turtle's! Little turtles, big turtles, land turtles, sea turtles! When my neice was a little girl (back @ 1972) that is how she pronounced the word turtle. She was in the car with me one time and I ran over a turtle in the road, not meaning too ... it was just there and I couldn't go anywhere because of no shoulder on the road, a canal on my side, traffic coming the other direction and cars behind me so I wasn't even able to slow down. I felt so bad as I have always been a huge animal lover and it really hurt when I realized there was a turtle in the road and I couldn't stop in time! My niece kept saying "Aunt Linda, why did you run over that little "churtle"? She was only 3 years old but she knew I was upset and told me she was sorry I ran over the churtle. She kept saying "poor little churtle".
Those are all precious gifts....................and you ladies deserve it! Day in and day out all day long, you were available.................bingo is so much fun!

I am afraid to go there yet ^_^. My newest project is going to be pumpkin fudge,which is a new one to me.
I wish I had the talent and or ability to do beautiful homemade things,but about all I can do anymore is bake and make candy,but not my really fancy stuff.
I still know how to knit and crochet,but I think the last big project I started was about 6 years ago and I haven't finished yet..LOL.
