I think to be fair to all players I will just put everyone's name into a hat and draw out one name. That's how we did it the last time I held cards. I cut out everybody's names, mixed them up in a big bowl and let my DH draw one out for the winner.

One more thing, I believe we had or if not, we should have a policy about homemade food items or any food items in general as bingo prizes on a DG forum activity to prevent any issues that may be related. What people do on their own is their business and has no bearing on the DG sponsored forum. It is a nice gesture to offer homemade or other food items but in my opinion, it doesn't belong as a bingo prize. We should stick with cash, gift certificates or any plant related items.

So True GoldLeaf. I hadn't even thought about that. It could be an issue. Some folks have allergies to a lot of foods and sending food items through the mail could end up being a problem if it got lost or hung up along the way or even re-routed to some far away place! I remember Gail sent me a package one time and instead of the P.O. sending it to Daytona, Florida, it went to Dayton, Ohio and then back to her in Texas ... quite a trip!
So, I agree food items as a prize is probably not a good idea so I will stick to offering either cash or gift certificate and such.

The Pumpkin Chip cookies actually have the mini chocolate chips in them! It's a recipe I got from the 2002 Oct/Nov issue of Taste of Home magazine! I only seem to make these during the fall and winter. My husband doesn't like pumpkin so he won't eat them. He loves chocolate chip cookies with nothing else in them. I make Oatmeal Raisin (one of my favorite's) and end up giving half to a friend and some end up going in the bird feeders!
I LOVE these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies ... really yummy!

Yes, it was a fun game. Even when DH laughed at me when I would run across the house to find my printed bingo card, so I could see if something was on the list . . .

It was a lot of fun. My hubby thought I was crazy running around looking for by 'bingo card' whenever one was called. He thinks I have brain freeze. ^_^. He's always complaining that I have too many plants and don't need any more. I just remind him that he 'collects audio equiptment (speakers, amps, dvd players, etc)" and I collects plants. And mine are a lot cheaper. LOL.
I'm ready for the next one. Hopefully it will start later in the month. I'll be away up in NY for my granddaughter's wedding and won't be home until mid Dec. I guess I could always hog my daughter's computer to check out the calls. I may even get her interested in gessies too. ^_^

Gail, probably better to wait until after Thanksgiving because I won't be home at delivery time for a few days this coming week. We get rural delivery and my carrier won't get out of her car if she has a box that doesn't fit in the mailbox, she just takes it back to the PO, even though we have a big chest outside marked for deliveries. The last time she took something back they couldn't find it when I tried to pick it up (personally I think it was left in her car because it turned up a week later)
