What grows under redwood trees?

Beautiful plants. Thanks for the hyperlink. I'm still learning how to find out how to get there, if ya know what I mean. One of these might be the answer to a gardening wish of mine.
I kind of figured that you might have to wait to get a photo. Ask your DH to show you how to use that camera. Or to get you a simpler point and click. Taking photos of your garden is a lot of fun, and it isn't as hard as you might think. Plenty of great photographers here at DG always willing to help out.
Thanks again doss for starting this thread. I am learning a lot. And here I thought the only thing growing under the redwoods was duff? LOL! : )
The best thing about DG is that I learn something new every day! : )

Hi SW,

The DH recently bought me a little digital camera, so I have vowed that I will get familar with it and take garden pictures next year. -Strangely enough, I've spent my whole career in software development, but when it comes to gadgets and technology, I am, let us say, challenged!

That's comforting Susan. I'm technology 'challenged' too. I still don't know how to use anything on my cell phone except the menu to get the phone list so I can call out. My granddaughters just whip through that stuff!

I'm "Technology Impaired" (thanks Weird Al), but my DH is a "computerphobe". Our kids, and grand kids don't have to unlearn stuff, so of course they pick it up easier. They cut their teeth on this stuff.
What kind of camera do you have Susan? I have a Nikkon, and have read and reread the manual lots of times, but they don't always answer all my questions. You have to jump in there and take lots of pictures. You might throw most of them away, but it is amazing how much fun they can be. (Ah the beauty of the digital camera!) There again, I have had to "unlearn" stuff. I was working with Dad in his darkroom as a teen, and digital point and shoots, don't offer some of the options that the 35 ml camera's did. Still a lot cheaper than paying for film & developing!
