I'm stuck at home and BORED!

Glad to hear that her healing is progressing and life is heading back to normal.
It was nice for her class to hold off the project; it is an interesting peek into the life of the owls. We have a pair of Great Horned Owls that nest in the nearby oaks, really neat to listen to.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Oh good, I'm glad to hear of the healing progress Melissa. And everyone being back in their own beds. That's neat that the class postponed the owl thing until after she goes back to school.

I have a Hoot Owl here, also known as a Barred Owl. They do the Hoooo-Hoooo-Hoo-Hooooooooooo sound. Echoes all over the hills.

I want your barred owl. My family traveled thru the eastern part of Alabama and we heard (I believe) barrred owls in the stream valley in the evenings, sounded almost like a pack of wolves. Love hearing owls. Too rare where I live.
