Christmas shopping

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Bill, like Candyce, I, too, like handmade gifts. Shows me that a lot of thought went into the gift. My sister Wanda in Texas once made shadow boxes with little fossilized things that she found on her property. They came out really nice.

wow did I hit an early deal... ACMoore had the christmas houses 50 percent off .... Randy sets up a village every year.. he is going to be thrilled to see he has a few more... I am shocked that it's not even thanksgiving and seeing a deal like that

here is last years set up.... although since we had the wood stove put in the fireplace... we can't set it up there any more.. way too hot.... we will have to think of something else

Nice Allison, we set up our village and train around the Christmas tree, but that leaves no room for gifts. I have too many houses for space now.

Very nice, Allison.

95 bottles of beer on the wall, 95 bottles of beer. You take one down pass it around 9 bottles of beer on the wall.

Lonely Hearts club Band - Hey who did that song!

The Beatles, Sherrie, you're a nut!

Yeah - I admitted it in another thread :-)

Sherrie is now a hermit,
She stays in the house with Mr. Kermit.
They had a terrible fright,
ended up with a big pillow fight,
he can now only stay for time as Permits!

Nope not doing that. Just stirring the pot. I am not working today so I thought I would drive you all nuts :-)

now that took some concentration - your not playing with an herb are you?

No - There was a study done at the university of cambridge that figured it out. Then there is a word scrambler, you type it and it changes it for you .

I met my niece at the Waterloo outlets yesterday, and we picked a great day. Lots of sales, 40% off and then an additional 30%. I picked up a lot of deals on clothing for DH and DS.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - that's some discount. They can't be making too much on that! I like the 'Lingerie half off' sales.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm sure you do like the lingerie half off.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Good one Deb!!!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

LOL! Great, Deb!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I thought it was my joke?!! But I don't mind sharing with Deb!

I agree Victor. So what are you going to do? Share with the 1/2 off? Its getting boring in here. Maybe I am due back for a whole day.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

OK..I got part of my Christmas present today! I need to learn how to use it before Christmas and so they gave it to me early.
My DH & Joshua got me a Nikon D40 Kit!!! The other half is the lens of my choice once I figure out what I need!!!!!!!!!!
I'm SO spoiled!!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I have a new macro lens on my wish list, then I'll have 4 lens and might be finished.
Great Celeste! Have fun.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You have a Canon, right Deb?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Well Deb I actually said something about a macro lens and then I said something about reaching out and touching that Eagle down in the back forty. Thats why they bought me this and suggested I get another lens for it... 18 X 200mm

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Yes Victor, a Canon, and I have lens up to 500mm, now want a macro.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Is it the Nikkor 18-200mm VR, Celeste?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I need to see what this one can do, then I can decide where to go from there. I'm already lost and i'm only on page 2 of the manual!
