Best wishes to you MissJestr for a speedy recovery. Pneumonia (that's how you spell it) is a miserable thing to have in the winter (well, any time of year!) and I hope that you take it easy and be good to yourself. Get lots of fluids and sleep well.

Ammonia is what makes chicken droppings smell bad! :-)

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

I felt as bad as Ammonia Smells.... Ewwwww I have been sleeping so much I am sore from laying down... But I am happy to be up and in town although doc says I have to take it easy for a couple more days.... and Billy will come home today, he has been staying with some friends since christmas day so I could get better.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Get well Miss Jester! My mother-in-law is still recovering from her case of pneumonia.
It is not a fun thing to deal with....now that it is mentioned, niether is Ammonia!
Best wishes to you jester!

(Zone 7b)

Hello miss Jester and all i too have been under the weather.Slept most of tuesday and all of yesterday except for my trip to the Dr. Been going down since last friday Dh finally talked me into going the doctor yesterday and it wasn't good news i have a bad infection and needed antibiotics and medicine for the awful nausea. She said we need to run test to find out why you can't stay awake YIKES i hate those words.
Good news my test came back good and i just need to finish my antibiotics i'm less sleepy today and have eaten a little. Should be right as rain in a few days ^_^

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Sorry to hear you are also unwell Harmony - hope you are feeling much better soon. It is a bad time of year for catching viruses....for people and chickens too.

His Puffiness here was sitting on top...I'm trying to decide if he's more a basket kinda guy, or a coffee kinda guy...hand crocheted, his eyes google at you just right... (so JM, did you know I always take too long drinking my coffee? How'd I let that slip?? Maybe I need more candy in my life...)

This is Krystal... Thank you Dominique! I never thought a 21 year old would be sitting on the couch at 12:02 making bouncy balls! It's awesome. Who told you I love socks???? I wanted to keep the socks I got you.Thank you!
When I was a kid, my mom wouldn't let me have foam stuff. I got some! I played with it in the house. Mom was sleeping.

Meet Mr. Pecksniff my superior Old English Game Bantam Roo. He thinks he is better than everyone else, that's why his nose is so high in the air.

Thank you so much Grownut! The detail on this is amazing. It is a gourd chicken! I had to do some repairs due to shipping, but you can't even see where.

I am going to name a chick Gourdy in Mr Pecksniff's honor.

I love it.

Rolly-rolly!! Sorry and Thanks ZeeZ. I was about to burst with it (yes, well, the patience of a five-year-old)...sorry he didn't come unscathed...It's just polymer clay. His finish coat should be good for outdoors. My favorite roo donated tailfeathers..

How'd everybody find all these cool things?!! Fun!

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Grow! I love the gord!!! Is it a birdhouse as well?
It was very nice of your roo to donate to the cause! I am impressed with the handcrafted goodness!
Everyone!!! Great finds! I sure did have fun doing this!!! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Happy New Year! {{HUGS}}
