Hooray for Rain!!!

Okay, rain with my morning coffee is good. I hope it sticks around for awhile.

It started around 4:00 AM here, and just now stopped. My cats weren't happy about it,but I'm sure my plants are!

Nice surprise this morning after having watched the clouds all around us for days! Very light, but I'm not complaining - that's good for a first rain. Shame we don't have our barrels in place yet, though, as the gutters were running a little. :-) We transplanted some roses Sunday, so they will be happy.

well no rain here today...and thankfully those winds have died down! I planted a crepe myrtle a few mos ago and was terrified I was gonna loose it yesterday with those horrible winds!

Yep. Rain here around 4 am this morning, really pouring rain that actually woke me up! I love sleeping with it raining outside. Very cozy! Can't get over how it has changed the garden!

WOW, you'se guys! Methinks a CELEBRATION is in order. Rain that wakes you up; winds to blow the leaves off trees, cleaning off the weary branches; clouds moving about, layer upon layer moving at different speeds. What a gorgeous time of year in Southern California.
