I agree. I wish for an old fashion Christmas. I will have to go up to Dallas, Ga this year for Christmas. I hope the weather is better than the last like we where there. My DS keeps the thermostat set at 64. Nearly froze.

Wren Me and You would get along perfectly in the music department only if occasionaly i could play my 70s rock it makes me feel young.
I like the Bee Gees! If the election goes all wrong, I might listen to them tomorrow on the way to work. They can perk me up.
I am ok with the 70s rock, its just this other stuff they call music now a days that gets me . I hate it when I am driving down the street and the car starts to vibrate.

Sounds lovely. I live in city, now though when we moved over here there was noting, not even a store. Now it is almost wall to wall homes.
I dance all the time, and I dance like nobody's watching because I don't give a hoot. It's exercise, it's fun, and it's stress relief!
Oh Wren, you have no idea how frustrating it is for me to be a Canadian citizen and thus unable to vote. It makes me nearly bonkers. In 2004, I nearly went home I was so distraught. I cried for days. But, I guess we are not supposed to talk politics here.

The weather here was about 73 today - gorgeous and sunny. A bit higher than normal though. By the weekend it's supposed to cool down considerably.
I have chicks hatching now! I had one this morning, just had a silkie out about half an hour ago (no pics until dry) and a few more potential silkies to go. One pipped. See my "mystery chick" thread.
sirens would be my guess. not doing any cute fluffies til Feb. consoling myself with medieval carols -no baebes....sigh

Seriously, we are putting in insulated plywood "sandwiches" with plywood-styrofoam-plywood. I also am buying some panel heaters from shopthecoop.com. And free cuddles for everybody.
Grow i have to wait i misssed the fall hatch due to the pox my hens are laying but with the pox i didn't want to hatch their eggs.
I will be back in full swing around feb i hope will have to figure out my hens next egg cycle.
For now i will just enjoy everybodys chicks.
