I can't believe anyone still has room for more...

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

The Brug cutting offer has closed ...and shipped... not eveyone got every type.. and they were of varring sized ..and type of wood delivered.. this was largely in others hands..
So.. to help with the growing of these brugs... I'll try to identify and look at their growing.. first pictured here is Dark Rosella.. a brug that will grow giving repeated full flushes with three to four weeks in between

Well.. to continue... this was a real hunk of wood as described.. the end was placed in a few inches of water.. this picture was taken after one day in water... already the white bumps have formed... and it could just about placed into apot.. once these white nubbins areformed... sodon't be disturbed by trying or seeing such a big hunk of wood..

i like the big ''stumps" , i havnt had a problem rooting any YET . the only one i had some trouble so far was a pink perfektion . it was big big and i thought it would root fast . it didnt like the orchid moss method . it was in there for like 2 weeks and didnt get a nubbie. it did get a little soft on the bottom that i cut away (which lead me to my next discovery ,i dont have any thing strong enough to cut big brugs lol ). i put it in a bubbler and in 2 days it was ready to go in the dirt .

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

Gordon, thank you so much for the cuttings! They arrived today! Like opening a Christmas present. The postage will be in the mail on Monday as well. I have a question and a request. I received two cuttings labeled Ollie with a question mark after them. Might be Ollie? Wouldn't it be better to call them a white NOID? Now for the request, do you have photos of the crosses you sent out? It's cruel to have us wait until they bloom before seeing what they look like. LOL. Thanks again for the cuttings.
Veronica

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

MMMM.. guess I lost the post.. here it is again.. Veronica.. sorry for the mislabeling.. it was to have read Ollie X ? [ I blame it on the help..] it was an open polenated Ollie bloom...likely with my TexasPink which was allways in flower right next to it... it has a whie flower..like Ollie.. and perhaps the great strength... of both parents....
Some of the crosses I sent out were seedlings this year...but didn't flower yet..some have flowered inside...many were gigantic plants...6 or 8 6' tall limbs.. and no flowers till they were so battered by the fall.. and i had to cut them back...one of the reasons I allowed so many to get them... I had such high hopes for some of these crosses.. and to throw away such hopeful wood was shameful... these unique crosses are sent out to get feed back on them.. many of the others had pictures posted as they flowered..
this is one of the crosses...Serendipity X Taylor Dawn..as seen flowering today inside..more photos will be included here..

Others small, but most had 'snubs' on them already. Into a jar of water with few drops of peroxide they went. Thanks Gordon, postage will be in the mail 1st thing in the morning.

Gordon, Sorry to hear about your Aunt. You & your family are in my prayers.

Thank you for the beautiful box you sent me. That canna rhizome was BIG. I'm going to share it with my sister Trish Ann & garden buddy Caren, both canna lovers like myself.

You must grow trees on your rooftop! All brug cuttings were 2 & 3 inches across!! Looking forward to growing your cuttings in Louisiana.
