Tried on my ipad, but no luck, so I'll see if my laptop is more successful, Debi! I'd just love to do that trip someday. Is there only one car for sleeping over? That caboose is the only way to go! Gotta go vote a few times now. Too bad they won't take the votes from my ipad and iphone! :)

You also can click on the drop down to put in up to 10 votes, and it does ask for email so if you didn't see that part, the vote probably didn't go through.

It really is a great trip, approx $450 for 2 nights, so it is a nice prize.

There are 2 cabooses, they drop them off about 1/4 mile apart, one is very private, the second is a nicer setting but you do have the train come in twice a day for 10-15 minutes.

The owners are fantastic, and love DH because he helped them get solar panels for the top to run everything. All DH did was tell them what to buy and where to buy it from, but they thought he helped them so much. They haven't had to charge the batteries for 3 years!

Oh, you should definitely win then! Look at the money you're saving them.....I love the train....would love to go across the Canadian Rockies....I have a friend who's doing that next year with her brother....

Oh yeah we did that too, one of THE BEST vacations!!!

The votes don't count until confirmed by email, so please check for the email. There are 12 pages of photos on there, and mine is on the first page because it was recently added. I'm currently in 6th place. There are some very nice photos on there, so if I come in the top 4, I'll be happy.
I think they'll be using the photos for advertising in the future.

I will do that, Debi! I would have voted for your photo if I had just stumbled on the contest without knowing you had taken it. It is by far the best one, and certainly the top choice if they are wanting to attract interest! I want you to get the free caboose ride!!! I'll settle for nothing less. lol

The railroad posted my picture on their Facebook page today. The Durbin Rocket is the only train running today and they're using my photo as their ad. I know I'm giving them free advertising, but it's cool.
