Hi Dave,
When I click on a subscriber's name and go to their member page, if I want to see other threads that particular person started, I would click on "View the threads (subscriber) has started".
Along with all the threads that subscriber started, are all the photos submitted to the Plant Files.
It sure would save time to have the Plant Files submissions separated from the Forum threads; some active members have pages upon pages of Plant Files pics before you get to a forum thread they started (other than a Plant Files pic) .... and it can take ages to wade through, too!
Just wondering if it's at all possible to do this? If so, you would totally rock even more than you already do! :-)

View the threads (subscriber) has started .... enhancement?
This won't help if you are just looking for all their threads in general, but if you are looking for a particular thread and you remember what forum it was in you can choose to display only the threads they started in a particular forum.
Thanks, ecrane3! Yes, I was aware of the forum-specific search, but even that's daunting as we have over 200 forums; so I was hoping there was a way to see all their threads in general without the PlantFiles submissions.

I wonder if there would be a way to do the forum-specific search as a checkbox list where you could select multiple forums to display rather than just searching one at a time... or maybe even include a "not this forum(s)" option. That would help with searching forums by subject or phrase, also. When I'm looking for a thread about columbines, for example, there are several forums it could be in (and many forums where it wouldn't be).
I realize that's a major change and not likely to happen soon if at all... but it would be handy!
Thanks for your input, critterologist. Yes, that would help, but rather than a change in the search method, I’m talking about a member page enhancement. I find that using the search function can be cumbersome and what is the purpose then of the 'View the threads (subscriber) has posted' on their member page?
The natural progression of things would be if, for example, I read a thread and a new subscriber posted some interesting photos and tidbits of information that have my interest sparked. I like to be able to click on their member name and look to see if there’s any other interesting threads that person may have started, or perhaps to see the forums they may frequent.
Also, many of the knowledgeable folks are Admins and have submitted so many photos to Plant Files. For example, Todd Boland, Uber Gardener, has submitted almost 3,000 images to the Plant Files. So I would have to wade through pages upon pages of Plant file submissions to find other threads he has started.
Besides, I can see all Todd’s awesome Plant File submissions by simply clicking the link on his member page under ‘Contributions’- and it’s just one button to push (easier than the search function).
I’m sure Dave has a long list of priorities, and I don’t have a clue about programming so I don't know what is easy to do and what is not. Yet I’m asking because almost every time I have requested a change or enhancement in the past - it seems it's done in the blink of an eye - so I thought it's best to ask …. 'cause ya just never know!

Right... I was just taking your suggestion a step further. With what I was talking about, you'd be able to eliminate PF photos from your search by checking them off on a "not" list.
I think it does make sense to just remove PF/BF submissions from the search, just like Dave took them off the "newest threads" list. As you said, these submissions are easy to find under "contributions" instead.
Now I gotcha! Thanks. Yes, that would certainly work. To be able to eliminate PF photos by checking a "NOT" list.
I hope this is doable!
