NO Eucalyptus here... both DS and I are highly allergic! used to take DS to a pow wow in a eucalyptus grove every year and every year he would wind up in the hospital and I would have a raging headache for days... took several years for me to put 2 and 2 together :( we dont go to that pow wow anymore lol!
DS has asthma really bad, problem is most homeopathic remedies for asthma have eucalyptus in them :( so need to be really careful....
okay, going to buy some puppy food...then I'll head over to #29...save some of those pumpkin muffins for me! lol!

It gives me a headache, too! I can walk into a florist shop, and "boom" I have a headache! Took me a while to figure that out! I love the smell, though!
I used to find excuses to go to a friends house just because there was a grove across the street where it grew through the fence and I could clip some.. it was the floral stuff... he would laugh at me so much... I just loved the stuff.. really miss that about California. Loved the fresh stuff I could buy at the flower mart in Los Angeles on saturday morning.. really miss that.
flower mart in Los angeles...was that near the train station...whats the name of that big square near the train station.... with all the mexican goods for sale.... I swear some days my mind is just a blank slate! grrr!

I don't exactly remember where it was.. several of us used to get up early saturday morning and go shop.. you would buy a boquet of flowers all alike.. we each would buy several and then go to someones house and spend a few hours making arrangements .... we would each take several home and decorate our houses... spent maybe $25 each and would have several BEAUTIFUL arrangements around our houses that lasted over a week. It was so much fun. Driving away with a trunk full of fresh flowers.. toss waterproof sheets across the dining room table and on the floor... scissors and vases everywhere.. and we started tossing, cutting and playing.. arranging... you can just imagine the fun we hand .. 4 of us just randomly arranging flowers with everything we had bought until it was all used up... sometime it took quite a while to use it all too.. you would not believe how much eucalyptus you cold buy for $3! It was a whole arm load! And they sold a sprig for that in the stores.. gave you the knowledge how much mark up there is.. I have not bought fresh flowers in a store since! I lieterally was able to make 6 or 7 HUGE arrangements for my house for $25! We all were!

I had a flower market at the corner of the street I worked on.... those cut flowers are expensive!! I think I paid $45 to have enough flowers to fill 6 vases at the office....never did that again! lol!

I will take myself to docs first thing in the morning...only cause the nurses in the ER hate my guts :oD I am NOT a pleasant person when I'm in pain and well... all i had was heartburn and they wanted me to lay down!!! to do a durn EKG on heartburn!? anyhow... I dont remember much but DH spent most of yesterday telling me what a horrible patient I was in the ER and in the recovery room :( so.... I think I'll stay away from them nurses until I am old and gray and they cant recognize me anymore :oD teehee!
I tell you tho... I could NEVER be a nurse! LOL!
so what, I slept all day and now everyone else went to bed and left me here?! sheesh!
Anjl, I'm glad you are going to the docs this morning.. let us know what's happening- thank you.. don't worry bout your behavior at the hosp... pain does bring on irregular behavior.. those nurses know that, but I agree with you, I could never be a nurse either, but I'm glad there are people who can!
