ok maybe I can hold out till 460 but tomorrow another day. I picked up a truck load of oak and ash piled by the street for firewood. It may be a short bed but it is more than full. My back hurts and I am so tired.
My neighbor said while everyone is getting rid of wood you are carrying it in. I said yes but when you are paying for firewood this winter I won't. The look on his face was priceless. "Like why did I not think of that." I will be the little red hen who no one wanted to help and in the end I am not sharing. hahaha That will teach them. HA
Next time maybe some will help this disabled lady with her yard. And I will share. Maybe.......

We are 464. yes you better take it easy. I need to get some stuff picked up out of the yard and put on the curb as I heard they are making rounds again to pick up. This is such a slow process when it is just me. I fell out there last week and my legs are realiy bruised and hurt. The insurance was allowing money for help cleaning up but he said he would have it expedited and that was over 2 weeks ago. Wow that is like the speed of lightening. hehe Well what I get done myself I will spend for groceries. Wow having food what a concept. It has been awhile to go grocery shopping.
Being one of the 3 (haha) of us collecting disability makes it tough in life. And my husband gone. It is sad how things change. My son well if you read a couple prayer request threads, Re ran up my credit cards abd I had to put him out and he had full custody of my 2 DGDs from his divorce. But I had to trust God. Then he lied to a judge and I was taken under warrant and put into a mental hosp. I was there only 22 hours and tell I was not homicidal or suicidal. He has started coming back around some but after his smart mouth yesterday I will soon be telling him to stay away. I don't have to take his stuff and I won't. I wear Big Girl Panties now. hahahahahaha

just came in from repotting one of my hibiscus.. it just had to be done.. it is now sitting in the sun in a larger pot.. the one my other hibicscut trio started out in.. they are now in a much larger pot...
do you keep your hibs in pots always? just wondering because I bought a couple this year, one is in the ground..the other in a 10 gal tree pot... can I leave it in the pot?
I have no choice.. they would not survive a winter here so they always stay in pots.. I have mine in a 22" right now.. I have had this group for 5 years.. have to trim them back every year.. they stay in my potting shed over winter with a heater then go outside in the spring. I have two different colors in one pot.. just have to water and ferterlize a lot. started in a 12 inch then went to 15 then to the 22... just put 2 colors in the 15".
oh whew! I was hoping I didnt have to try to dig any holes anytime soon! I'll just leave mine in the pot for now and maybe plant in the ground next year. I just got lazy this spring...then with heat stroke and now the gall bladder surgery and puppys surgery...well, my poor garden is getting quite neglected! lol! the brugs still look great! DH knows he has to help watch over those for me... or I'd sink into a depression if anything happened to them! teehee!
my hibiscus has been very happy in a pot.. here is a pic of it last year... it finally is looking like this again.. looked like a bunch of sticks all year until now. it finally has leaves and a few blooms

wow! yours is much bigger than mine! I just bought mine this year and it was in a lil quart size pot... the one I planted in the ground is about 3' tall now, but the one I potted up is only about 18" they are different varieties so I hope the potted one gets just as big. I want to eventually plant it next to the pink one and fill one entire bed with just hibiscus!
They grow more slowly for me here.. this is 4 years old... immediately after I repotted it last summer. remember I am zone 7b.. I get snow. They can't live in the ground here.. would die the first winter. I love having more than one color in a pot so I have multiple color blooms at a time... it is fun.

Have some Gevalia Pecan Torte coffee that is to die for.. take it to work sometimes.. they beg me to bring it.. but at $10 for an 8oz box... not too often.. it goes FAST.. sometimes I don't even get a cup! And does anyone ever offer to help buy the next box? Think we have gone throug 6 boxes at work.. have one left here at home.. may keep it for myself here. Stingy me... wish I could share it with you though.. I would too.
