CLOSED: Wanted: Sweet Autumn Clematis

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

You have Dmail, when I put in your address, Postal Service Shipping Asst software changed your city to 'TOOL, TX'

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I answered your Dmail... Tool is correct... Kemp is just the main post office, and where our mail actually goes through... But, if it came up TOOL, that's great.

Ooo,Look...Lili as caged critters in her backyard....LOL

I put a white Lady Banks on this small arbor and it took off into the very top of this paulowina tree. You can't see it very well but goes all the way to the top...about 30ft or better.

I know what you mean. I had my 8yr old DGD all summer. I'm getting too old to keep up with an 8 yr.old....LOL

Hey yall I wanted to add my personal favorite way to grow sweet autumn. I have a large Azalea by the road that it grows through. In the spring when the azalea is at its peak the sweet autumn has barely started to grow so it is still at ground height. By the end of summer the sweet autumn has covered the bush and makes the bush look like it is blooming. When it is done blooming I yank it down so the azalea has time to put on its spring bud growth. I've done this for several years with no adverse affects to the azalea.

I"M A NEW PROUD MAMA of a Sweet Autumn Clematis... and she arrived fine, about 2:00 this afternoon... and is healthy and beautiful. Thank you so much bigred.
She's already in the ground, and pointed toward the arbor she'll be expected to climb.

I am also a new nurse to FIVE beautiful cuttings of New Dawn Climbing Rose... sent to me by Lilimercy. They're medicated (root hormone) and sticking in pots and resting well. I'm pushing the fluids to encourage those roots to emerge. They're on life support right now with their tents, but resting well, and should make a full recovery... THANK YOU so much for sending them.

DH got one of my new beds in the secret garden all tilled up and amended today. It took 16 bags of Cotton Burr Compost to cover it... we're both exhausted... so, I'm going to call it a day.

Thank you both again.

LOL! Congratulation new mama! Get some sleep while your babies are sleeping.

Good deal! Glad all your babies arrived safely.
