Honey, you haven't lived until you've done 50s. :o)

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

tell her joyce. life really begins at 50

(Zone 7b)

Sorry for the silly you should take them out but i would at least candle them to be 100% sure they are dead.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

if dead what will they look like?

(Zone 7b)

well i will be 49 in jan. and then 1 year and it's the big 50 but i'm haveing so much fun do you really mean it's gets better Woo Hoo in that case i can't wait to be 60!

(Zone 7b)

Help!! "Claire" Jordan wants to know what to look for if her eggs are dead.

Clarkson, KY

Unresponsive and, ummm, sloshy?

(Zone 7b)

Jordan since Claire is not responding i would say look for movement and listen to hear peeping. Careful rotton eggs will explode.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

a couple are sloshy, a couple have a good air pocket but don't respond to tapping, a couple are dark all threeww

(Zone 7b)

Sloshy's are rotton I would if not seeing anything and no response consider them dead how about everybody do you agree.

Clarkson, KY

Can't imagine sloshies being anything but long gone. Sorry Jordan.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

what about the other 4

Clarkson, KY

I would keep a little longer and wait. Sometimes I 'tap' test for response with my fingernail. No pro though, and I don't know banties.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

they don't respond to tapping

(Zone 7b)

It's been 4 days over the hatch date and i only wait 3 i will leave the decision up to you Jordan.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Hey Jordan, are any of the eggs blue-green? They can be really hard to candle and look dark all through even if there is an air cell.

Keep the ones with the good air pocket.

Sloshy is very bad. Dispose.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

the eggs are white,

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Dang. Still keep the air pocket ones, not the sloshy ones.

Clarksburg, MO

Oh you guys have made my day. Someone told me life begins at 30 and so I was a little disappointed that at 37 I seemed to miss the new beginning. Glad to know that they were wrong and will look for the new beginning in 3 years. That gives me a little time to prepare.

aye aye commander. private jordan carrying out your orders

Lodi, United States

Life used to begin at 40--improved health care and raging narcissism have pushed it back to 50.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

lol you girls are for sure the nuts of the bunch. Glad I am in your group. Miss tamera, I best be getting some chocolates also. Maybe we can plan it just right and have them make babies and hatch them right before easter. What ya think there.

Kathy, when my phoenix start laying if ever. I will save you some eggs. They are the silver laced, here he is.

Clarksburg, MO

OMG Tia, you had better be bringing some of the White Crested Black Polish to Chickenstock. I need a trio at least. If not I will not provide any intoxication assistance.

I'm a Strongbow hard cider kind of girl. That, and fruity beer, and pretty much any wine. Or a really well made Tom Collins. Strongbow is hard to find. I like woodchuck as an alternate.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

We have an "International Market" that has a selection of brews that you wouldn't believe. From just about any country imaginable...I'll have to check for a "Strongbow".

I'm not crazy about Gin, but I'd be glad to join you in a Vodka Collins!

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

i can bring white crested balcks too...

kathy ssad still about those golden.... but wally is still alive? he is a honker!
