AuntB, as much as I love my DH one place he is not, is in the garden....let alone when it is cold and wet.....LOL He still thinks it would be cheaper to buy all new plants every year.....like I say little does he know....LOL
Having said that he will help me bring in the really big stuff when I get around to it....but I usually don't get him involved unless I am in overdrive.......

Donna, beautiful bloomie! I talked to my friend Maggi last night who specializes in Brugs (a real expert) and guess what? All she does is stick cuttings in water until they root and then pots 'em up! Who would've known after all the complicated techniques I've been trying to memorize.....I can't wait to start some!

I still like rooting outside in summer.. less work cause Mom Nature does the most and worry cause I'm busy working on getting blooms.. I remember Clems "feed me" cactus blooms, how great she's got some more so soon... I still need to repot the ones I have (not like hers) with a better potting medium..... next year's list.. It was plumb chilly this morning! I'm wondering how much longer we have before we have to bring the brugs inside. This weekend, I plan to take stock. I'll let you all know what I am not wintering over this year. I'm guessing I'll get rid of 6 or 8 brugs. Still not sure if I will take cuttings or just send the whole plant to someone.

Hi Cat... I told Mel last night, we HAVE to take an inventory with paper and pencil, I don't like anything to freeze if someone wants it.. I have some really cool coleus, but I don't usually winter them over or take cuttings.. so I know I'll have those if anyone wants me to put some in their brug pkg... I getting out my journal and will get my lists updated and I've got a bunch of new hotties to add to the Hottie Section.. I'm so behind! Oh, and mg seeds, I usually have gobs so you girls d-mail with your Want Lists from me and I'll do all I can to satisfy your cravings, no need to beg, just say "please" lol.. (coleus at top and bottom) still more..
The first ones usually will start in the "crook" of a "Y" but not always... but ya know Karen, if you find them teeny tiny, you will experience at test of your patience for a lot longer.... waiting for the skirt to unfurl.. :)
