'Already in your journal' note in PF entry

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

Is there any way a Plantfiles entry could have a note that says if it is in currently in our journal?
I was searching for a plant and thought I had the right one, but wasn't sure so I had to go through my journal to find out. ...It's true, if I had gone through my journal to find the plant I would know one way or the other, but I wasn't sure if it was already in there when I was searching. If I clicked 'Add to your journal' it would have added a duplicate entry and who knows how long it would take me to realize that.
Did that make any sense? Anyhow, I would like that feature.

Hey, I have found several duplicates as I had forgotten that I had already added it to my Journal. It would be nice to have something like the Zip Code report, where it shows that you already added it and gives an option to remove it.

Maybe not the solution you are looking for, but it works for me. I usually have several tabs/windows open and shift from one to the other. There are several search options for your journal. You can select two of them when you set up your home page, by having a small journal entry box and by having the journal included in your tool box. Then when you are working in your journal there is also a search tab at the top right area. If you keep a page open to search your journal, you can be in Plantfiles in another.
